Pros:

Spacious room and very clean. Very accessible for the elderly (travelled with my 92 yo mom). Lots of convenient amenities within the hotel (cafe, shop, outdoor eating).

Cons:

the toast with Nutella and strawberry and toast with honey and (cheese?) was very poorly made. these are simple treats that can be made more appetizing by one simple thing - using better bread and spreading it more carefully.

You can tell management works hard to try to make this place great but its very obvious hes not given the tools to do so
Pros:

Cons:

Excellent, convenient location but little else to justify cost
Pros:

Location was excellent and staff were kind. We were greeted immediately upon dropping off our car at the valet and they were helpful. Front desk staff were also pleasant.

Cons:

The elevators are incredibly slow. We ended up taking the stairs because waiting was taking much too long. The rooms were clean but outdated and when we arrived the AC was set too high so the room was quite warm. You're 100% paying for the location and the fact that Asbury doesn't have any other hotels in the area and it's not worth it. I don't think we should pay for valet when it's at least $400 for a room

The location of this hotel is key. It was very close to different attractions.
Pros:

Overall, our family enjoyed the hotel. The property is elegant, the facilities are spotless, and the staff was friendly. We loved the pool area the most. There were food and drinks available along with a DJ which made it a bit lively.

Cons:

The room was not prepped accordingly but addressed immediately after we brough it to the staff's attention.
There was no conditioner in the room.
Not enough bath towels for 4 people
The tissue box had two sheets remaining when we went to use it
The phone was not functioning. Thus, we had to go down to the lobby to ask for the missing items so that we could get ready in time.
The next day the clock alarm went off at 5am. Very unexpected as we did not set the clock and was hoping to sleep in. Housekeeping should make it a habit to check and reset the clocks to avoid this mishap in the future.
Parking at hotel was very pricey.

Very High Price for Very Low Quality
Pros:

The hotel is very close to the beach. If the beach and boardwalk is your goal, this hotel is as close as you can get.

Cons:

A laundry list of issues:
- Parking is not available. Street parking is almost never free and if you do acquire it several blocks away, you must pay each day. Alternatively valet is available but also very expensive. You would think after paying so much for a mediocre room, parking would be smooth. Nope.
- Very poor service. I called room service only once during my stay and requested a single water bottle, only to be told they cannot accommodate and I must come down to get it. Operator was very rude and complaining about his busy day, when I the customer just wanted a simple task done.
- Elevators were extremely busy. It took 20-30 minutes each time to grab one to go down. If I was forced to stay here again I would only use the stairs. One elevator also broke with only 2 operating for the entire building. The last day I was unable to grab a since elevator. I had to carry luggage over and over down 4 stories.
- Pool area was very dirty. The open bed areas by the pool where a family can stay were only for reservation at $100 each. Again after paying over $500 per night, you would think a simple relaxing seat by the pool would be possible. Nope, think again.
- Power went out in the night due to a storm. It became very hot as AC did not work and the entire night was spent in the hot darkness. No accommodation or refund was given.
- Expect to pay a lot more than just the booking price as parking, pool seating, and much more will be costly. Be prepared for poor service and lots of walking up and down stairs.

Nice but not worth the price. I won’t come back or recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Proximity to the boardwalk and beach. Clean. Very friendly staff.

Cons:

Guest parking costs $80 per day. The pool facilities cannot accommodate ALL the guests, even at 50% capacity. The rooftop bar requires you to pay $50 for a meal, without any drinks.
