Harbourview Inn

The location was perfect and the staff most helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room was spotless.

Absolutely LOVED this hotel and I'm very picky!! We stayed here for a few nights and it was wonderful. The breakfast delivered to the room to enjoy in front of the huge glass doors that opened to the balconette was lovely. The rooms were huge, it's centrally located and the staff is incredible. The wine and cheese in the evening and cookies and milk at night were a nice touch as well. Will definitely stay here again!

We love this hotel it was our fourth time to return to the Harborview Inn. It has a wonderful location, exquisite rooms so comfortable. The beds are amazing. They’re not your usual hotel bed and the views of the Charleston Harbor are captivating. Watching ships going back-and-forth. They have many amenities like a breakfast that you choose from a menu the night before and request where you would like to have your breakfast. We chose each morning on the rooftop. Yes it was hot, but there was a gentle breeze and a great view. They have afternoon happy hour. They have hors d’oeuvres cheese fruits eight they have their specialty drink for the week and wines. They have cookies and milk at night, which was a hit with my friend. There’s a wonderful little ice cream shop next-door, which has an amazing Affogato and a young man working there is great too speaking of service people from the valet service to the front desk to the maids. Everyone cannot have been friendlier and always working and always willing to stop and help you. When we return to Charleston again, will return to Harborview.

It was perfect!

We stayed at this wonderful hotel with my daughter and her family. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast and many treats were amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. No request was ever too much-even a car hire at short notice to get a family with two older folks and small children across town. The location is perfect for site seeing. The children loved to play in the fountain at the end of the day.

We had a wonderful experience at the HarbourView Inn. In addition to the convenient location, we were also impressed by their willingness to go above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We had an early flight, and we knew that the valet would not be available. He kindly placed our car at the front of the garage so it was accessible. The night clerk quickly pulled the car around so our early exit was seamless. We will definitely be back!!

Everything. Location, staff, cleanliness decor, bed!! Ice cream next door, breakfast, happy hour. Valet….everything!!!!!10/10

The southern hospitality is unbelievable, had the best time. Breakfast, attention to detail and comfort like nothing else.

Fantastic hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive to our needs. Attention to detail and amenities was far beyond other hotels. The complimentary breakfast you preorder from a diverse list of selections the night before, was excellent and far better than most hotel breakfast buffets. Our stay could not have been better. We will stay here anytime we’re in Charleston.

What a wonderful hotel and a fantastic location! The staff was so welcoming and friendly, and helped us with any questions we had. I would highly recommend getting one of the balcony rooms. We were in room 203 and every morning I could open up the window, stand on the balcony, and have the most fantastic view. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast that was brought to our room every morning. In the evening, they had a wine and cheese reception and then for late night 9-10, they had warm cookies and milk. In the evening, we would enjoy the short walk into the park to just relax, take in the views and sit next to the famous pineapple fountain. Most other attractions & restaurants are easy to get to by walking or by water taxi(which is right across the street) if you don’t have a car. The hotel and the staff made our stay most enjoyable.

Great location! Our room had a view of a beautiful water fountain with the Charleston Bay as a backdrop. Easy walking distance to many historic sites with plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from. Particularly liked the balcony off our room. Plus the hotel has a great rooftop terrace for a continental breakfast or some wine and cheese. We really liked the "room service" option of a large selection Continental breakfast, Stay here again? ABSOLUTELY!
(PS: Bonus- A block away from the East Bay Meeting House where you can have the best Berry Crepe that you will ever, ever eat!)
