I come to Saskatoon once a year and have wanted to stay at ' the Bessie.' It exceeded my expectation
Pros:

Very comfortable bed. My room was near the elevator, yet very quiet. A lovely stay.

Very good and we were satisfied.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved looking at the collection of historical photos on display.
Pros:

The architecture and design of the building. The location is fantastic.

Cons:

The upkeep or maintenance of the building is lacking, carpet edges are fraying, stained ceilings, loose toilet, stained sofa, dust seriously built up in ceiling fans of elevators, damaged ceiling panel in elevator, just to mention a few. I don’t expect perfection but these all add up to poor maintenance.

We will be back
Pros:

We need many accommodations and lots of assistance when traveling, the staff was very friendly, eager to help and polite. We had a couple little hiccups on our end and they were more than helpful. Our kids felt like royalty staying in the castle.

Cons:

The pool was very very chilly!
