Beautiful venue but for us it wasn’t really worth the cost
Pros:

The decor, the grounds were lovely. Reception staff were helpful.

Cons:

No plugs by the bed - a problem for all of our group but particularly for me as I need to plug medical equipment in at night.
Some of the staff seemed a little impatient with our group - particularly our children who weren’t causing a problem and better behaved than many of the older rather drunken guests staying there.
The Spa closes early on a Saturday evening which was the only time I could have used it and had been looking forward to it, but didn’t get to use it as a result.

Trip to Darlington
Pros:

Really enjoyed our stay at Blackwell Grange, the staff were all very friendly, and the food in the restaurant was very good. I wish we could have stayed longer as I didn't get the chance to use the spa.

Amazing spa day
Pros:

Had a fabulous afternoon at Blackwell grange spa. Gorgeous lunch followed by a couple of hours in the swimming pool and indoor and outdoor jacuzzi. Was a beautiful day and finished off with a 50 minute facial by Isabelle which was out of this world so relaxing and my skin feels amazing. Would 110% recommend a visit

Great hotel, with lovely grounds to walk in. Very relaxed dining area.
Pros:

We had dinner in the Havelock Dining room and breakfast the next morning. Both were very good. Our room was far away from the wedding party that was going on that evening, so we weren't disturbed by that at all.

Cons:

Everything was fine

11/10 what an experience
Pros:

What an amazing stay at an amazing venue.
Celeste and Liz were the most incredible hosts.
Celeste really did go way above and beyond to make sure everything that we needed was catered for.
6 weeks stay with business and Celeste made sure that the hotel felt like home.
The food was delicious, especially the desserts and the spa is to die for.
Will absolutely visit again,
Could not recommend enough

Brilliant… great friendly & helpful staff
Pros:

Stayed at Blackwell through work and was the first time I’d stayed.
On arrival all the staff were attentive and very helpful. Room was clean and tidy.
When getting food and drink at the bar, it was excellent. Compliments especially to Celeste and Liz who couldn’t do enough to help.
Should I need to stay in the area, I’d definitely be back to Blackwell Grange.
