It’s a beautiful property with a great view, good food, beautiful new pool and kind staff. It’s also very clean.

Cons:

There was no AC in the indoor restaurant and breakfast area, it was very hot inside during a heatwave. Also the pool was a bit warm especially towards the end of the day.

Die Lage und Ausstattung in diesem Hotel ist sehr ansprechend. Die hohen Räume, Ausstrahlung von belle epoche
ist sehr charmant und trägt zur Erholung bei.
Der tolle Garten und Pool tun das Seine dazu. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Cons:

Wie gesagt, das Essen abends im Restaurant könnte fantasievoller sein, würde besser zu diesem tollen Hotel passen. Sonst hat Alles hat bestens gepasst.

Great staff, awesome property, tired building interior, a bit too event focused rather than guest focused.
Pros:

Lots of green, nice pool area, beautiful structure.
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, especially, hotel manager, Bar manager and restaurant managers were super diligent.
Bar at the pool zone is a big plus.

Cons:

Carpets make the hotel feel tired rather than classy, rooms furniture also needs renovation.
One old and slow elevator only makes waiting times tedious, if you cannot add elevators to the building, better to at lest change the old elevator for a faster one.
The restaurant inside was very worm, hard to enjoy dinner with a air conditioning system that could not manage the room temp.
The pool bar is great, as a suggestion, it would be on the next level if you add waiter service to the pool areas, you would sell lots more and guests would enjoy the luxury experience, certainly willing to pay an extra euro or 2 per drink for such a service. Also adding more tables at the bar zone for lunch would fix the lack of tables at lunchtime which not only us but many guests were having. Nobody wants to have lunch on a sofa.

Die Lage auf dem Hügel in Varese mit eigenem Park und grossem Parkplatz ist einzigartig. Es ist sehr ruhig.

Cons:

Leider sind die Armaturen in den Badezimmern etwas abgenutzt.

Pros:

Good food, nice breakfast, comfortable beds and very nice swimming pool. We stayed for one night on the way home with two small children (2 and 4 years old). Friendly and helpful staff, also very friendly to our kids. The pool was well maintained and modernized.

Cons:

Some things, like the bathroom can use an update. It was clean and it is nice that it has the original look, but it is also nice if the toilet flushes properly and if the water in the public bathroom stays cool instead of very hot when washing hands (after a short time the water turned hot).
