Luxus pur für jedermann
Pros:

Absolut empfehlenswert! Man fühlt sich royal und sehr willkommen in einem wunderschönen Luxushotel der Belle Époque. Sehr faire Preise, erschwinglich für jedermann. Gratulation zu dieser Geschäftsstrategie! Das Hotel besitzt einen wunderschönen Park mit Aussenrestaurant und Snackbar unter einem Säulenumgang und liebevoll eingerichtete Lounges in freier Natur. Im Preis inbegriffen ist ein sehr gepflegter Aussenpool; ein willkommenes Muss im Sommer und Seltenheit in anderen Hotels in der Umgebung.

Cons:

Die sehr teuren Wagyu Fleischgerichte im Hotelrestaurant waren nicht geniessbar, da das Fleisch sehr zäh und kaum kaubar war. Ob es an der Qualität des Fleisches oder an fehlerhafter Zubereitung lag, lassen wir offen. Reklamiert haben wir nicht. Wir wollten niemanden blossstellen.

Un très bel établissement !
Pros:

Très bel établissement au charme un peu suranné mais appréciable. On se croit dans un ancien palace du début du siècle !

- Grande chambre fonctionnelle au décors classique avec une belle vue sur le parc (ou le lac mais c'est plus cher).
- Parking gratuit.
- Superbe piscine ! Spacieuse, moderne et calme. Un véritable havre pour se ressourcer et/ou se poser.
- Bon petit déjeuner, varié, pris dans une belle salle début vingtième avec vue sur le lac.
- Personnel à l'écoute mais un peu distant (certainement la barrière de la langue).
- Un bar et un restaurant (non testé car un peu cher) d'extérieur très agréables.
- Bel vue générale car l'hôtel est en hauteur à quelques minutes en voiture de la ville de Varèse.

Un très bon séjour, hors du temps. Nous reviendrons !

Cons:

- La tuyauterie, certainement d'époque, mériterait d'être remplacée dans la salle de bain. Il n'y a quasiment aucune pression dans la douche.
- Musique un peu trop forte au bar où les consommations restent assez chères.
- Des peignoirs pourraient être mis à disposition pour la piscine.

Pros:

La piscine, l’environnement en général. Les zakouski avec les boissons commandées au bar de la piscine.

Cons:

Manque de matelas sur les transats. Les réservations au bar à proximité de la piscine qui privent de places les personnes résidant de l’hôtel qui n’ont pas réservés, je comprends tout à fait le fait de réserver une table au restaurant mais pas les fauteuils ou petites tables du bar. L’impression que l’hôtel apporte plus d’importance aux groupes de sociétés qu’aux voyageurs résidents. (réservations bar de piscine). Wifi peut performant.

Wir haben drei sehr schöne Nächte im Palace Grande Hotel in Varese verbracht und sind rundum begeistert. Das Hotel war durchgehend makellos sauber, vom Zimmer bis zu den Gemeinschaftsbereichen. Der Pool war ein absolutes Highlight und hat für tolle Erholungsmomente gesorgt.

Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns das Personal: kompetent, freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Als wir unseren Aufenthalt spontan um einen Tag verschieben mussten, wurde uns unkompliziert und flexibel entgegengekommen – das haben wir sehr zu schätzen gewusst.

Wir können das Palace Grande Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!
