Royal Hotel

I felt safe when I stayed, and couldn’t find anyone else cheaper in Horsham.

The building is spectacular but the conditions need to be considered. I suggest to stay one night first and think if stay longer.

Service was very good. Rooms were very basic and bathrooms were not cleaned.

More than acceptable accommodation for the cost. Food was awesome. Had the mixed grill.

The restaurant at the hotel is quite good.
I had a room with a shared bathroom, with all the inconvenience that comes with that.

Bed was old tri bed, bad matress and just a sheet and blanket. Freezing cold all night. Food options I didn’t see any food options

It’s a lovely old pub that needs the carpets cleaned and the rooms needed major cleaning. Staff were friendly. Nice fireplace in the public bar areas. Could do with a significant injection of funds to improve the accommodation areas

Was super easy to check in, friendly staff, room was great for just a quick stop for a sleep, exactly what I needed

Staying here is like a trip back in time. Lovely antique fittings. A lovely place for a night or two stopover right in the heart of Horsham.

Food was good, but had trouble eating it, due to shaking with the cold. Room was cold, even with a small heater. The bed was uncomfortable, thin pillow. I left at 5:30 A.M.,due to being able to stand the back, and Neck pain.

Great location in the heart of Horsham. Beautiful old building. Wonderful decor. Rooms extremely clean and tidy. Awesome atmosphere if you stay on a Saturday night.

Really need change, should change the carpet, it was so old and dirty. Change the furniture and mattress. The building is historic which is valuable. If can put customers need and first updat internal facilities. Can make beautiful place. Otherwise really upsetting people

My original booking was for a double bed. When I arrived, I was given a single bed in a tiny room. As I had been travelling for 7 hours, i was too tired to argue the point!

Nice place, the building is beautiful even if it is old. The dinner was good too. Only con somebody opened my door while I was still dressing, it was still 15 minutes before checkout.

It's a pub stay, simple, clean, cost effective. I personally slept very well.

Not everyone's cup of tea to stay in a 140 year old pub, the bed was good, the bathroom understandably tired, but the staff, food and drinks were fantastic.
