Great location. Within walking distance of the train station and is also close to airport bus stop. A short walk to Grafton St. and very close to Abbey Theatre. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable.
Convenient location
Really overpriced because there were concerts in the city that weekend. Really hard uncomfortable pillows. No water provided in the room. Two sachets of instant coffee in the room. Nice enough clean and decent sized room but that was the best part. Both me and my friend paid for the room between us yet they wouldn’t give my friend Marriott points because it was me that made the booking despite her having paid half
Location
Breakfast was terrible. Low effort.
Modern and clean, decent location
We arrived in Dubin for a family wedding on 6/18. Spent 2 nights at the CitizenM (INCREDIBLE- more about that in another post). After the amazing 4 day wedding we returned to Dublin and chose Moxy as home base for leg 2 of our trip. Upon arrival we found a cool, hip vibe to the hotel. Walking around the area it was definitely a bit shady but as pretty seasoned travelers we were fine. Day 2 I warned my husband to take care as the shower floor was extremely slippery. There was no shower mat and even with the warning he slipped and fell. Thankfully he was fine. I went to the desk requested a shower mat and was told “that’s not my department” but he put in the request. After returning from a tour day..no mat. Here is where the management issue began. Please bear with me. We stayed 2 nights and left for 1 night to visit Belfast. We were returning the next day and re-checking in. I spoke with a manager the evening before we left and was told that I could store my luggage for the one night in the secure luggage closet until we returned. The morning of our departure the day manager refused to honor the evening manager’s word. Paulo stated to us “there is no secure place for overnight luggage.” This was a blatant lie. There absolutely is a secure location. While to some this may seem trivial it was very inconvenient as we now had to bring 3 weeks worth of luggage on an overnight that we had packed in backpacks the night before after being told we could store the luggage. There is so much more in between but I won’t bore you. The management there is horrible. Staff wonderful for sure. Night manager Julia is a superstar. Paulo…not so much. If he reads this he should then go read my CitizenM review and self reflect.
Sam makes the best old fashioned outside of the Jameson distillery.
Samuel was awesome. He made me a specialty drink not on the menu and it was great. Very friendly, funny and knows how to mix a drink. If he was my employee, Insoikd give him 6 months paid holiday!!
Very nice and modern hotel and very centrally located.
I was staying at the Moxie Dublin… Samuel was the best bartender ever! Really- I appreciated how much much care he put into making a quality cocktail! Excellent service from him…
Really comfortable. Great location a short walk from most things. Nice little touch with having a free cocktail at the bar. Nothing to complain it was great.
Clean rooms and common areas. Close to downtown. Quiet. Helpful staff. Great variety for breakfast. Marianna on the front desk was extremely helpful in mapping out my points of interest. Made me feel relaxed. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Had a very enjoyable stay at the Moxy Dublin. The front desk team was great—friendly, fun, and always a pleasure to interact with throughout our stay. The lobby has a lively atmosphere, the room was a great size, and the location is incredibly convenient for exploring everything Dublin has to offer. Also, kudos on the great breakfast—I would happily stay here again.
Friendly helpful staff and great location
Location was excellent. Room was comfortable and plenty big. “Infinite” refills on breakfast food as it was self service and refills encouraged by reminder 10 mins before end of service in case you wanted more food.
Way too expensive for what you get. Had the vibe of a place that was recently a hostel. Pizza ovens under the bar, some food was prepared in microwaves. Ordered dinner one night - the chips were burnt and inedible, the lasagne was very nice but I suspect it was pre-prepared and heated in the microwave …. No-one enquired as to how the food was or if I needed anything.
Only hot food available for breakfast was eggs and bacon. The arrangement of the breakfast area was such that lid of the eggs could not stay open by itself as it was blocked by a shelf above it. There was nowhere to put the tray while dishing up the eggs and bacon so you had to try to balance it with your body.
Great location , very clean and comfortable 👌
