Moxy Dublin City

Great location and value. The hotel, amenities and rooms are well kept up. Good variety of food options available. Everyone we interacted with during our 5 day stay made the stay more enjoyable, especially staff members Sam, Giuliani and Catina.

Perhaps the Moxy Dublin is a good fit for 20/30 year olds who travel extremely light, stay only one night, or happily live out of their suitcase. But for slightly older couples… seriously? They provide a RACK to hang your clothes, no drawers or shelves for folded clothes, no coffee machine (just a cheap imitation of Nescafé instant!! C’mon!). No washcloths, either. Heck, just grab a corner of a hand towel and scrub off your makeup. And for approximately $500/night for the most basic room. No tub. Queen bed. Want coffee? Head to the lobby and fork over €3 for 1 cup. I should have asked if Marriott Bonvoy platinum members qualify for a free refill at least. No fitness center for those who enjoy their morning workouts. Also, this location, to save on energy bills keeps the hallway lights off on the way to your room, activated by motion sensor. Unsafe and creepy idea. Marriott Moxy has a lot of nerve to charge such a fortune for this: barely above a college dorm room! If the price was commensurate with budget hotels, it might be worth giving up the standard hotel amenities. But not at these prices. Never another Moxy anywhere for us.

From the beginning of our stay, checking in with Sophie Salas until we checked out. The staff was unbelievably friendly, professional, and met all our expectations.

So clean and modern. The beds and towels were really comfortable and soft. Very nice breakfast, even though it was continental there were eggs and bacon which was a nice surprise. We left our bags in a locker for the day after we checked out for free which was very very convenient. Ideal location.

I had a wonderful experience at Moxy Dublin! I arrived early and was able to check my bags, which allowed me to start exploring Dublin right away without having to worry about my luggage.

I also needed to make a change to my reservation due to unexpected circumstances at home, Joshua and Mariana went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Their kindness, understanding, and willingness to help truly made a difference and was so appreciated.

After a full day of exploring Dublin, I was definitely ready for a good night’s rest and #AtTheMoxy delivered! The room was spacious, comfortable and the perfect place to recharge after a long day of walking and sightseeing.

From the helpful staff to the comfortable room, Moxy Dublin made my solo trip that much easier and more enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin! 🇮🇪💚
