I loved that it was very quirky, the staff were lovely, it was a great location to town and with parking so all very good! Rooms were clean and comfy bed.
The only thing I didnt like was we were on the top floor and it was very hot, fans were supplied which we was grateful but the birds in the morning were crashing into the sky light so we had to close the window as I thought that one was going to swoop in! Maybe aircon would be a good shout!

Brilliant balance between old and new, ancient and modern. Lovely modern toilet and shower facilities, large-screen TV, security card lock on the room door. Ancient/antique looking furniture, still strong: wardrobe, chair/table, building facade, restaurant setting/ambience. Courteous, polite, well-presented staff.
Absolutely nothing to complain about. The 'old'-looking bits were well maintained. They all fit quite well along with the more modern bits.

Great location, apartment was exactly what was needed with travelling with 2 young children! Lots of space and was comfortable.
Apartment was very hot due to the weather and could not keep the windows wide open due it being a fall risk to the children. Would be safer if there was a rail or guard to the windows. Apartment was on the second floor with no lift isn’t very accessible with a pram etc.

We stayed here last month. The room was at the top of the building and very small and hot.
There was a fan in the room but it didn't cool the room at all. The windows where very dirty. The bathroom was a good size with a big bath. Unfortunately the shower was small and only had a rainfall shower head. When we came down for breakfast we were not told of the continental breakfast on offer. I had to ask what was set up in the corner of the restaurant. The staff seemed very young and inexperienced. I had to plug in the toaster myself.
The room was serposely serviced on the second day but the toilet paper wasn't even replenished. The top of the toilet wasn't clean it had dust on it.Also the water glasses where not clean. The tea/coffee cups where extremely small. Two sips and your drink was gone. I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here.
Staff was excellent nothing any trouble.
Good effort to deal with heat. A good fan was provided in the room and it was effective. Breakfast was good, especially the cooked breakfast. The local area is attractive - a park nearby, as well as a station
Beds were very comfortable
The car park was totally inaccessible.. communication from staff on how to get to it was dreadful check in time was muddled three different times given .. and road was blocked off by bollards as it was market day so we couldn't get near to drop off luggage .
No sight or sign of any management despite asking to speak never saw a manager
Loved the location. 5 minute walk from station, shops you require all in the vicinity. Warm welcome on arriving, very helpful. Fridge in room a bonus.
Room a little tired looking, could do with a refresh. Some stains on wall. Stain on chair, sofa wasn't very clean, also had broken top part of remote control behind it. Fitting has come away from wall for trouser press exposing wiring. Hairdryer not working, although replaced when I mentioned it, shame the fitting for trouser press wasn't, just pushed back against the wall. TV didnt work, no terrestrial channels, and kept buffering. Casing on hot water tap was also coming away from the wall. Only 1 fan in room on an extremely hot few days so no sleep was had.

The sheet kept coming off the matress and matress was exposed with yelloe stains on matress. The theme is boutque, but needs s refreash

Amazing staff who catered for our needs. Early check in, kept our bags safe whilst we went to the Metallica gig.
Unfortunately our shower was too hot and couldnt go below 34 degrees. Only time I will slightly complain about being too hot. It is warm in thr UK atm
