I loved staying here. The property was exceptionally clean and modern. Amazing bathroom and comfortable bed with spacious room. Only a short walk to the beautiful river and restaurants. Staff were exceptional.

Pros:

A Lovely Haven, We'd Stay Again
Pros:

From the staff to the quiet to the room design, we were very happy with our stay and would stay there again! The staff was really friendly and helpful. We hated to leave!

Cons:

(Sandwich/hot dog) breakfasts are brought to your room and these are later than we would usually have chosen so be aware if you're an early riser. The location requires a bit of walking from public transportation. The shower sprayed outward to the door so we learned to be careful. Would have liked them not to throw away our soap every day.

Excellent location and great amenities
Pros:

Excellent location very close to a lot of the top attractions, including Nishiki Market and Gion, and also close to the main subway lines. Right next-door is a 24 hour 7-11 where you can get a quick bite to eat, but also has an ATM which was useful since some tourist locations are cash only. The hotel staff were amazing, they are super friendly and speak English, and are a great resource for first timers to Kyoto like we were. There’s a daily complimentary breakfast that they offer between 8:30 and 10am and fridge is well stocked with the drinks (both soft drinks and also alcoholic beverages) that are also free of charge, and get restocked daily. The beds are very comfortable, there are futons available as well, which was perfect for our two kids. Bathroom was spacious with a shower next to a whirlpool tub, perfect for relaxing in after a long day of walking. We’re looking forward to staying here again!

Had a great stay and even better soak in the deep bath.
Pros:

The King room had a massive two person deep soaker bath. Large bathroom, lots of space with the lounge and kitchen, and a musical toilet! A sensational welcome from the front desk and they walked us up to the room and showed us every detail within the room. Very professional and very friendly.

Cons:

Some paint chips on the walls could do with a touch up.

Great location, clean and modern, amazing staff.
Pros:

The facilities and staff were really great. Very modern and clean. Ryota helped us on everything we needed and made the stay very smooth. In particular Ryota was able to lend us a HBDI to USB-C cord so we could connect our iPad to the TV and watch programs off our various apps. Ryota helped connect everything up so that it was all running very smoothly. It was just such a welcoming stay. Thai you.
