Det skønneste lille hotel med en perfekte lokation på en stille gade. Fik en varm velkomst af personalet, der gav grundige instruktioner til værelset og anbefalinger til restauranter i området. Hotellet/værelset er rent og pænt, og smukt indrettet - a home away from home.

Otherwise, the hotel was small and intimate. Our room was a good size with many amenities. But thoughtfulness of our host was the element that truly made our stay a very memorable experience

I LOVED this hotel!! It was so very comfortable for me & my partner. We had a whole living room, bed area, kitchenette and large bathroom to ourselves. It was certainly our comfiest spot we stayed at in Japan. The service is impeccable and the staff are very responsive and kind. You get free breakfast + water / tea / coffee pod refills everyday too.

Adorámos a nossa estadia no Hotel Muso! Tivemos a sorte de receber um upgrade para um quarto maravilhoso, com um estilo japonês muito especial, diferente de tudo o que tínhamos experimentado. Ficámos encantados com o espaço, o conforto e todos os pormenores, especialmente as comodidades disponibilizadas no quarto. A casa de banho tinha uma enorme variedade de amenities, incluindo produtos de skincare, e estava tudo pensado para que não nos faltasse nada.

Queremos destacar especialmente o Ryota, o nosso anfitrião, que foi absolutamente espetacular! Esteve sempre disponível para nos ajudar, foi extremamente atencioso e recomendou-nos vários restaurantes excelentes, que tornaram a nossa experiência em Quioto ainda melhor. Sentimo-nos verdadeiramente bem recebidos e cuidados durante toda a estadia.

Apesar de não termos experimentado o pequeno-almoço, tudo o resto superou as nossas expectativas. Foi uma experiência fantástica, que recomendamos sem hesitar e que adoraríamos repetir!

Excellent accueil calme et confortable parfait

Loved everything about our stay, room was perfect and staff very friendly. Would book again if I’m ever back in Kyoto!

I’ve stayed at many extraordinary hotels in Japan and experienced some truly wonderful hospitality, but Hotel Muso somehow managed to surpass them all.

The location is fantastic, the design and planning of the hotel are thoughtful in every detail, and it feels like a true boutique hotel in the best possible sense. The level of comfort is exceptional — honestly, I have yet to stay at a five-star hotel that feels this comfortable.

Breakfast being served in the room every morning was one of my favorite parts of the stay. Everything was prepared with such care and attention that it genuinely made us start the day happy.

A very special thank you to Ryota-san. With his kindness, warm smile, wonderful recommendations and constant help, exploring Kyoto felt incredibly easy and effortless. We are also very grateful for the care and precision he showed in arranging the delivery of our luggage to our next hotel.

There is no question where I will stay on every future trip to Kyoto: Hotel Muso.
