We had a really lovely stay here recently. The hotel upon arrival was clean and very well maintained and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and modern, with basic things being easily accessible, such as plugs right near the bedside, mirrors in the correct places and the toilet roll at the correct level and the shower was very easy to use, with an on switch for each shower setting. The hotel local was also perfect. We would definitely stay again!
Comfortable rooms.
Was kept awake by banging doors, people on phones, people coming and going all night. People in the room next door were banging on walls and arguing. I was in Peterborough for a friend’s funeral and due to emotional day and lack of sleep, I’m a nervous wreck today. Room was good and check was fine, but was cancelled out by the constant noise at night. Very disappointed by this
The staff were welcoming and engaging. We had a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room. The room was clean, bright and fresh with everything you would need. The bed was comfortable and the shower huge. Breakfast was exceptional with dietary requirements catered for.
Nothing
My partner and I travelled for our anniversary and the staff made sure to make it a special stay! <3
Staff were lovely. Everything smelled so nice and it was spotless. The bathroom is spacious with a great walk in shower. Comfy bed. Toiletries were good quality and the selection of tea / coffee and snacks was good It's a beautiful hotel and I would probably book it again if we were staying in Leeds.
I booked a deluxe room instead of standard to give us a bit extra space after having looked at the photos online. Our room was small and I thought we had been given the wrong room. I have been assured it was a deluxe but I can't imagine how there could be a smaller room as there wasn't much space. It also didn't have a wardrobe / closet as advised, just a rack on the wall. It really wasn't worth paying extra for. Having said that, our overall stay was really good. Although the bed itself was comfy I found the pillows too firm but that is probably just my personal taste.
Had a lovely overnight stay with a very comfortable bed, clean room with lovely touches of courtesy crisps and fudge, bottles of water, tea and coffee, incredibly helpful and welcoming staff - will definitely stay again!
Emergency light lit up the whole room
Lovely hotel - refurbished to a high spec
Requested early check in - only allocated to one room. Long process trying to sort oht upon check in. Broken hairdryer in room - split open exposing inside mechanisms. Housekeeper in hallway did take away and replace.
Pole across shower fell on partners head to attached properly
Close to the train station. Comfortable bed and room. Everything needed for an overnight stay!
Nothing to dislike!
Location
O
My room was lovely. I had asked for a quiet room and they put me at the end of the 5th floor. Although in the city centre, this room was completely quiet. The room had a very unique layout....There was a shelf in the middle of the room to which the TV was mounted opposite the bed area creating a little division...this was really nice as it separated the dressing/work area from the bed area thus helping me separate my rest with the need to work in the room. The room was immaculately presented and clean. High quality tea and coffee was provided (Yorkshire Tea and Taylors Coffee bags). Fresh milk was also provided in the fridge. This was all free as well as nice touches such as fudge, nuts and crisps that made this a premium experience. The foyer area was also very nice and would have been suitable to work from should you wish. Breakfast was really high quality. There was a good choice of foods and emphasis was more on quality of food rather than too many different options. You could ask for black pudding to be cooked for you if you wanted. The result was everything I had to eat and drink was very high quality. The staff were all lovely too from house-keeping to reception. When I came to check out the receptionist knew my identity automatically and addressed me by my surname with title. This is something that has been lost in hospitality and was a very personal caring demonstration of the staff. Overall an exceptional stay. I paid around £85, using a £60 credit from my booking.com account. Very delighted with my stay and would stay here again.
The water pressure in the shower was low. I fed this back to the staff so it could be looked into. They were apologetic and I said not to worry as this can occur on 5th floors. Nevertheless I used the moveable shower head which had better water pressure. This was the only fault I had during my stay.
Staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant.
