Lovely proper hotel
Pros:

Really loved the hotel and facilities. You could spend your whole holiday in the hotel and not be bored with the lovely restaurants, bar, health suite and gardens.

It’s a big old rambling premises so limited improvements I can understand, breakfast was delicious- ask for fresh eggs t

The room was good, access via car park for a wheelchair. Food was very good, particularly the breakfast.

Cons:

Coffee brand in the rooms, staff said they’d get it changed. The leisure centre is very disconnected from the rooms, a badly signed journey to it and not the cleanest. Staff were very helpful when I pointed out the problems.

Pros:

Staff were lovely. The room was clean and everything that was expected.
Location was easy to find and the guiness was nice.

Cons:

Only issue I had was the eggs at breakfast, as it was buffet style the eggs were rubbery. Now you could get them made to order but we find it hard to get a member of staff to take said order so we gave up. But otherwise it was a good selection. The makings of a full fry, cereals and pastries, tea, coffee, and juices. Filled us up.for the journey home.
