Sunset Condominiums

Tiny rooms, no air conditioning but provided a fan. Bring cash for the taxi ride it’s $11/person. We walked from town and it was a hike.

You need better directions to the condo. Walking distance is more than 2 miles. You need to let us know nothing extra is in the condo: no paper towels, no plastic spoons/forks/ect..

The room is very different from the picture. I was counting on a kitchenette with bread toaster. something to prepare a light breakfast with. The actual room was just like a hotel room with coffee machine (coffee was good!), microwave and refrigerator. no safety deposit box. no A/C. It was all we need but nothing fancy. It was quite far from the city where everything happens but for the price we paid and last-minute planning, it was good enough. at least water pressure for shower was good.

The room had many broken elements, including blinds, door handle broken and it certainly was mish mash decor. It was listed as a condo, but I believe it was staff housing. The towels were clean and the beds were ok. Many discarded items around door on the porch. Would not return there.

Overall good. Quiet and secluded area which is great. Older, and outdated.

Amazing views

I stayed here on a work trip and it was suitable for one night. I would not have wanted to stay longer though. The location of the condo (at no fault to the place) was very far from downtown, so you have to have a bike or take a taxi. We were here for work so its not something we thought ahead to do. This does not take from the place, just something to keep in mind. I paid for a lake view condo which was more money and you could not see the lake. Also the curtain was broken on the back door and when I tried to close it, it fell off the wall. It was a nice place, but was not overly memorable. The check-in and out process was very easy.

We loved the forest setting, however there was no deadbolt lock for the door. The sheets were not comfortable so we suggest that thread count be increased. The room was cold and we could not adjust heat. Please add plastic ware to the room.

The condo was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Everything worked well and the area was very nice.

Great cozy place to stay!

The only thing i didnt care for too much was the bathroom door was real loud and the bed felt like it was on an incline a little. Also the lack of air conditioning.. that would have sucked if it was a hot day. Everything else was great about our stay. The service was exceptional!

no ice or trays.all lights did not work. freezer was faulty. ants in room. no luggage rack. screens did not fit windows leaving gaps for bugs to get in, deck porch dirty

Property needs ALOT of maintenance. Balcony needs major power washing, peeling paint etc. Inside room looks like it hasn't been updated since the '70s. Also, not properly supplied. Gives you dishes but no sponge or soap to wash the dishes. They had maybe three tissues in the tissue box etc.

Very dated, fan blades were falling out of the fan.

It’s a great place to slow down and relax, everything is slower, you don’t hear any language, loud music ect. Come here if it’s time to unwind.

The guests next door turned on the dryer all night long and had buttons or coins. Very annoying.

I had a last minute family health emergency come up and also realized the hotel was booked for the wrong date. Manager was completely not sympathetic and would not allow refund despite the circumstances. Will not book with this place again.

Spacious for a family of 4. If we were staying more than 1 night, I think the kitchen amenities would be great for cooking! The sofa bed needed to be vacuumed before use (lots of food crumbs underneath cushions from previous guests). The sliding balcony door locks on screen and glass door are broken; thus you cannot lock it. This was a security concern, and we didn’t discover the issue until 11 pm, so after hours & calling staff to address wasn’t an option.

I was quite embarrassed to be staying here. It was very basic. The grounds were terrible, no landscaping. It’s hard to find, in the middle of nowhere hidden in the bushes. There were wasps in the bathroom, the bathroom sink was blocked up, and the ceiling fan was falling apart. This place is in dire need of upgrades. My wife and I had to pay $22 each way to town for the both of us. That’s $44 per day extra. Next time I’ll pay that extra for a bed and breakfast in town.
