Big hotel with a nice restaurant and Starbucks in the lounge. The shuttle to the airport was nice.
It is further away from the train, but you can take the free shuttle to the airport and get on the train to go to downtown Vancouver. There aren’t many hotels in Vancouver that have water slides, so there were many sports teams there, which made the pool busy and dangerous at times.

Die Nähe zum Flughafen war sehr gut. Rundherum gab es mehrere Frühstücksoptionen.
Sehr laute Umgebung durch Flugzeuge und Straßenlärm (wussten wir aber). Die Einrichtung ist ziemlich alt, der Teppich sehr abgenutzt. Passt nicht zu einem 4 Sterne Hotel. Da müsste dringend mal renoviert werden.
All good. Clean and easy access to and from airport
It was very clean!!!! The location was perfect. They have an airport shuttle. There are 2 restaurants on site. They have paid parking for those who drive. There’s a pool. The housekeepers were really friendly and professional and the front desk staff as well except for one.
On the evening before my check out I called the front desk to ask for a late check out. The male agent who answered said while laughing “you need to speak to the manager, I cannot help you with that”. I had to ask when the manager comes in because he didn’t even follow up with that information. He then told me 8am in the morning.
I called the next morning and a female agent answered (NOT the manager). I told her I need to speak to the manager regarding a late check out. She told me she could assist instead and gave me until 1pm.
That male agent was very unprofessional and lacked proper customer service. A better answer from him could’ve been “I’m sorry, I’m not able to assist you with that at this time. You would need to speak with the manager. He comes in at 8am. Please call back at that time and he/she will be able to assist you”.
Otherwise my stay was great. I would still go back despite that bad experience.

Everything! We requested a quiet room, and I got a room by the fire exit. Door was slamming all night. In addition, the room was very hot and we put the temperature down but it was still hot. It was also disgusting, there was hair on the dresser by the bed and dust. We won’t ever stay there again, and it wasn’t cheap!

The price was good for value. Seem decent hotel. Pool seems nice but we did not use it.
The bed was comfortable. Has microwave and a small freezer.
Decent value, but avoid the Provincial Wing—it has a run-down motel vibe. We requested a move to the newer building, which was a significant upgrade. It’s still quite old, but definitely more acceptable for a stay.
