The hotel was clean and our room was spacious. Beds were comfy. No complaints at all. Would stay again if I was in the area.
The rooms could do with modernising, but that didn’t impact our stay at all.
Friendley and clean
Room over kitchen with noisy kitchen fan on till 11pm right outside room window
This hotel has now stopped breakfast
Also, no staff during the night and early morning to be found, only wanted extra milks
No breakfast, no staff about
The staff were friendly and helpful . The room was quiet and comfortable. The location was perfect for the purpose of our visit
The shower pressure could have been better . The decor of the room was a little tired
This property was ideally located for what we needed it for.
We booked two rooms and were given rooms 6 and 8. When we checked in the noise in the rooms was so loud - like an airplane engine sitting in a runway. I went down to reception to asks to be moved and was told there was no other rooms but that the noise was from the extractor fan from the kitchen that was outside our wall - practically attached. The receptionist said it would go off at 9pm and wouldn’t go back on till 8.30 am the next day - you have to check out very early at this hotel 9am-10am so I thought it would probably be okay besides they weren’t offering any alternative. Unfortunately on the Sunday morning the very loud noise woke us all up at 7.20. I called the hotel on my mobile and the lady that answered couldn’t care less - she said it always comes in before 7.30 on a Sunday and that it “didn’t bother most people as they are normally starting there day by then!” How rude- then said she would tell the receptionist to tell people 7.30 in future and that was it . No apologies, nothing! The bathroom in room 8 is so small that you have to squeeze around the high large sink to sit in the toilet but I could have lived with that if I could have a goodnight sleep. The hotel call and charge these rooms as superior double - they are NOT. You can’t sleep before 9am or after 7.20am: when booking the hotel should inform guests that this is the case with these two rooms and also charge accordingly - very disappointing and annoying !
Rechnung bekommt man auch keine, selbst bei mehrmaligen Nachfragen.
Keine Reaktion.
Good access to the town. Staff friendly
Room overlooked a mess in the courtyard
Bathroom dated
I did not have breakfast as I was visiting relatives so I did not need to have it at the hotel.
The shower was not very good - not enough power and there was not a way to seemingly regulate the heating and it got very warm - and I don't often say that!!
The hotel was clean and rooms spacious
The location was great. The room was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was lovely, couldn't fault it.
Definitely will be returning soon.
I loved the location.
The room was very clean and comfortable.
Staff were friendly and welcoming .
There wasn't anything that i didn't like.
My view out the front window and a bath I can fit in 😅
The shower
Proximity to town centre
No breakfast and thought that was all in the price.
No heating in the bedroom
No bath mat in slippery bath surface
Fire door to end of corridor fully open with door stop and landing window wide open.
Sound proofing not good as heard doors closing and foot traffic passing our door at 6 in the morning.
No biscuits with the tea tray.
Paid extra for the upgrade to king-size bed which cuts down the room size.
All in all it was somewhere to lay our heads for the night but nothing special about it. The Hotel looks charming from the outside.
The location
Bedroom was far too small. Small TV. Bathroom was small, nowhere to put your towels
Asked for a rubber mat but never came. Disabled parking was occupied by a non blue badge holder. No proper breakfast.
