We stayed at this hotel for one night and unfortunately left very disappointed.
The room itself was large and spacious, which was a positive aspect of our stay. However, it was located directly opposite a service door used by hotel staff. The constant slamming of the door and loud conversations in the hallway were very disturbing, especially for our two small dogs.
The hotel charges €20 per dog (our dogs weigh only 3 kg each) as a pet fee, which we accepted expecting a pet-friendly experience. Instead, the noise from the staff area caused unnecessary stress for our pets throughout the stay.
Another issue was that the TV in our room did not work. The receptionist tried to fix it but was unsuccessful. He offered to send a technician, but after waiting and dealing with other problems, we decided to give up and spend our evening without a functioning television.
The experience at the lobby bar was equally disappointing. We ordered Aperol Spritz, only to find that it was essentially a self-service drink costing €7 each. There was initially no ice and no Prosecco. After asking several times, these were eventually provided, but then there was no soda water available. The bartender insisted that tonic water would be an acceptable substitute, which it definitely was not. We ended up leaving all three drinks unfinished.
At checkout, we explained all of these issues to the receptionist. He apologized, which we appreciated, but there was no attempt to compensate for any of the inconveniences. We were charged the full amount without hesitation: €401 for one night, plus the drinks and €40 in pet fees for our two dogs.
Considering the price we paid and the number of problems we encountered, we cannot say this was good value for money. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet the standards we expected, and we left feeling very dissatisfied
