The decor was beautiful
Nothing. Everything was excellent
Its nice nice location. Very ascetic and modern. Entrance was clean and everything else for the most part
We had to wait for a room to become available and when it did it had a very unpleasant smell and dog hair on the table and seats. I got 2 rooms. The next room the heat was up so high the room was supper hot and was locked so due to service needed so couldn’t change the temp. The door to enter the room was noisy. When checking in the receptionist was not knowledgeable with booking and gave me a different pricing for my stay. The ones from the next day I addressed my concerns about my issue and just where not listening to me. I was being nice and trying to explain the issues with the room cause man it was so hot in there it was like a sauna we where sweating. That way the next person doesn’t have the same issue i did. Then i told maintenance and the just unlocked the thermostat enough to lower the temperature but before we left it did it again. Then the swimming pool for being a new facility the water is dirty had so much chlorine it burned our eyes. Its my 2nd time coming here and the hot tub was not working
Clean, convenient, extremely nice room with huge windows and beautiful views
Parking and breakfast was terrible
Staying at this downtown hotel was a unique experience, set in a beautifully renovated former factory full of history and character. Across the street is a stunning historic post office—worth a visit in its own right if you appreciate architecture.
Inside the hotel, there’s even a self-guided scavenger hunt game that takes you throughout the building and up to different floors, adding a fun, unexpected layer to the stay. Ask the front desk for details—it’s a great way to explore the space.
Our room was spotless, very comfortable, and impressively quiet. Breakfast each morning was a highlight—made to order and absolutely worth going downstairs for. The dining room itself is beautiful and adds to the experience.
The hotel does have a faint “old building” smell in some areas, but it’s not unpleasant and fades quickly as you settle in. Our only real disappointment was not receiving the corner room we reserved, despite booking in advance. That said, it was a busy weekend, and we arrived later in the evening.
Overall, a historic, comfortable stay with great food and a lot of personality.
We had a Sunday lunch which we were expecting to be a special experience. The menu was very limited but I thought I couldn't go wrong with waffles and chicken. It was terrible! I'm sure the waffle was something they got frozen. It was hard as a cracker and was barely room temperature. The chicken was breaded strips of dried tender meat again barely warm.
We had booked a room in person with two other families for an upcoming volleyball tournament. We all booked the same type of room and refundable because we knew things could change. The location of the tournament changed to Janesville. The other two families canceled no problem. We called to cancel weeks ahead of time and they refused to cancel. We tried calling and left messages for the general manager for 3 weeks. He NEVER returned our call. We ended up getting stuck with a $380 room we couldn’t use and the company refused to work with us. We will never book or stay here again. Caution to others- use a booking company that guarantees
a refundable room and do not go through the hotel. Never had such horrible customer service ever. Very disappointed
The room was spacious. The overall esthetic of the hotel was nice.
My room was clearly not cleaned when I arrived. There was a food wrapper on a chair, and a piece of a bathing suit in one of the drawers. The carpet was very dirty, and there were greasy spots on one table and sticky drink rings on the nightstand.
I notified the front desk, and they sent someone up to clean the room. When I came back, they had emptied the garbage, made the beds and gotten fresh towels, but the surfaces and floors were still dirty. The swimsuit from another guest was still there, and a piece of my daughter's swim suit was now missing. They must have picked it up with the towels. I'm still waiting to hear if they've found it.
Loved everything at the hotel including friendly staff at breakfast!
The parking was small.
Perfect
None
There is no parking lot associated with this hotel. If you get in later in the evening it’s possible there’s absolutely no where to park! The hallways are too dimly lit with cement columns. Very creepy for a single woman. The room was large but decorated so industrial felt cold and uncomfortable.
Everything
Nothing
The man that helped us at the restaurant was wonderful. He helped us with the simulator and helped us and other groups with food orders. I wish I caught his name.
Room wasn’t the room I booked, kissing a whole bed and all three of my boys had to sleep on one foldout bed instead of having another queen and pullout couch. Also, our toilet barely flushed, and lamps were broken, as well as the blinds, toilet paper holder, sliding barn doors, and the refrigerator.
