I stayed only 2 nights as I had a family emergency had to leave and also the room was not comfortable either I was told I would get a refund still waiting for the refund and no one reach out to me until today very disappointing

Disappointing and not recommended.
Pros:

The porter that delivered our bags to the rooms was strong and that was useful because the rooms were a very long way from Reception.
Debra and staff in the restaurant were pleasant and efficient.

Cons:

The hotel shuttle was not on time at the airport despite flight details being provided. I had even sent a reminder message the day before our arrival.
When we arrived at the hotel, Receptionist Anna told me I had included breakfast for only one of the two rooms I had booked. A return trip several hundred metres from the room to the reception with the paperwork I had printed off proved this to be incorrect.
The two rooms I booked were called “Superior Cottages”. They turned out to be anything but! The rooms were old and poorly maintained with fixtures that were broken or not working at all. They were located beside a busy road.
This was not a pleasant start to a holiday!

A disappointing second stay and not recommended.
Pros:

Debra and the restaurant staff were friendly and even remembered us from our previous stay a week before. The food was delicious and prepared quickly.

Where do I start ...
The hotel shuttle bus NEVER ARRIVED at the domestic airport despite flight details being provided. I had even sent a reminder message the day before our arrival. After more than an hour waiting, I paid $40 for a taxi to Tanoa Skylodge Hotel myself!
Upon arriving at the hotel, Receptionist Anna informed me that we were being moved to a ‘sister hotel’. No reason was ever given. Other staff told us that night that we could have stayed there and the place certainly did not appear busy.
After a significant wait for the shuttle bus to take us to the new hotel, I asked Anna if food was available at the new place. The answer: “No.” We had been travelling by air, waiting for well over an hour for an airport shuttle that never arrived and had not even had dinner by this late hour!
Once again Restaurant Manager Debra came to the rescue. She took our orders promptly and, before long, delicious food was on the table. Thanks Debra; that was very much appreciated!
Eventually, we began our bus trek to the ‘sister hotel’ that turned out to be Tanoa Apartments. The reception there was supposed to be closed by that hour but the lovely man found us two rooms and even helped with our suitcases. The rooms he had left were two floors down and there was no lift!
This hotel chain appears very disorganised and significant staff are not competent at their jobs. In addition, despite advertising on the booking site that prior payment was not required, I received an email some days before our stay asking me to pay in advance. Their policy was quoted back to them and we paid at the hotel as originally advertised.

This hotel is a locally-run place not an international chain. Don't stay here is my best advice.
Pros:

Nothing much.

Cons:

They cancelled our booking two weeks before we arrived without bothering to let booking.com know So we arrived and the place was booked out. They managed to find one spare room which was pretty awful and nothing like the Superior Cottage we had booked. No price difference credit offered either.

The staff make this hotel. Friendly, nothing is too much trouble, always with a smile :)

Suited our needs for an o/n stay before catching the plane

How small it was especially the shower. People outside our room early in the morning talking/laughing which woke us up.

Staff were friendly, room was clean. Breakfast was good. Shuttle to airport was good. Close to a couple of places to eat, but walk through semi industrial area

Cons:

Very rundown. Didn't get a top sheet, just a blanket. Tiny bathroom - I've had bigger on boats. Noise from other guests - there was a group of men partying by the pool at 7am... This didn't seem to concern anyone?
