The room was fairly nice.
The downstairs pub stank of men’s toilets
Overall a beautiful experience as we come to expect from this top quality chain of hotels .
We paid extra for a room with a view of the gorge , which we got , but the windows were so dirty we were unable to enjoy it .
Lovely older style hotel
It would have been 4 but bar waiter client skills lacking.
Stunning location to explore Clifton village and the bridge with decent restaurants nearby
Nothing stood out
Great views, nice food. Good range of drinks available.

Absolutely beautiful, spacious room with a fantastic view of the bridge. Worth every penny. And the location is unsurpassed. Because we had a room facing the Avon Gorge, there was zero noise from outside. Incredibly comfortable bed. Lovely, helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Nothing. Couldn't improve on anything.
Great hotel in a great location.
Lovely comfortable room.
Amazing bar area and terrace.
The location was lovely. A lovely little town to look round.
Location. Elegant feel.
Nice reception experience and stylish lobby. We had put a bid in for an upgrade and got one so we’re looking forward to a nice view of the bridge. First impressions of the room were disappointing. The decor is gloomy and dark, lighting dim, the furniture is cheap and the curtains thin and cheap looking and I was wondering if we had indeed been given the upgrade room. The windows were so thick with dirt that you couldn't see out of them and the inner, secondary glazing was also very dirty and stained. it was clear that these had not been cleaned for some considerable time. The bathroom is very nice with a lovely shower but the lighting was dim. Appreciated the lit up magnifying mirror and the L'Occitane toiletries. Toilet seat was loose and we mentioned it to reception but nothing was done over the two night stay there. Housekeeping made the bed but oddly left one head pillow and the scatter cushion on the floor by the bed where I had left them. We mentioned the dirty widows at reception as we could not see the view as promised. they offered to move us but we had already packed so I requested a refund of the upgrade amount which was given without quibble(I see we are not alone in mentioning the window issue). Did not eat at the hotel but bar staff very pleasant and professional. Would not stay again but thoroughly enjoyed Bristol and the hotel is in a nice location with access to some great eateries.
Terrasse ist nur zeitweise zugänglich.
Das Zimmer war etwas dunkel und eher klein.
