Albergo San Marco

Lovely hotel in prime location. All the staff were so lovely and helpful. The rooms were clean and immaculate and maid service every day with clean towels. We were based on first floor facing the outside main walkway and you could hardly hear anything. Coffee machine in room but take teabags if your tea drinker as it does dispense just hot water. The breakfast was normal for an hotel, continental but you can ask for bacon and scrambled eggs. Overall, highly recommended, can’t understand lower ratings

Staff was so helpful and the location is perfect!

We had 3 nights at the hotel. Excellent location. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would have preferred a kettle in my room to make tea or some instructions on how to use the coffee machine 😂. The bathroom door was self closing which was a little annoying if you wanted it open to let the steam out from the shower (couldn’t keep window open due to the mosquitos). The breakfast was delicious, beds very comfortable and cleanliness was fabulous. Overall a very lovely hotel and enjoyable stay.

Great place to stay but the AC was on chilly whatever we did and I found the bed to be very firm . It was very clean, a credit to the staff . 25 min walk to the bus station which was hard work in the afternoon due to the crowds , but easy in the early morning as the streets were empty in comparison .
A few min from the expensive shops which reflects in other shops , the further out the better the prices .Do your research and you will have great time . Nothing is far away as long as you can walk .

This is a very special hotel in terms of customer care and comfort as well as being in a superb location. The room facilities were ideal for our needs and meticulously maintained. Staff could not have done more for us…even came to meet us on the first night when we got a little lost!! Thank you Marco!

Upon our late arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who was very helpful with providing us with extra hangers and usb charging cable. Room was a small king deluxe which was superb for what we needed. Bathroom was very modern. Hotel had refurb last year so everything was modern and fresh. Fabulous location less than 1 minute walk to San Marco square. Canal view from our window watching the gondalas go by. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Great location with lots main attractions in walking distance. Would definitely recommend. A big thank you to all the great staff working here!

Everything was super clean and comfortable, and conveniently located near the famous plaza! Staff were friendly too, helping us with our luggage during check-in and giving delicious food recommendations. Highly recommend Albergo San Marco!

Area very convenient for shops and sites. Breakfast good. Staff helpful. Room clean with good facilities. Only slight quibble was air con. Moved from cold to hot. Didnt seem to stick at set temp.

Hotel is in perfect location for sites, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast is standard free food. But restaurant lunch was great. Rooms clean, spacious, comfortable. Great stay!

We had a suite which consisted of 2 bedrooms. The space is clean, but not fancy. It has a utilitarian feel. It was very quiet and the air conditioning worked great. The location is superb.
