The Hampton Inn in Wells is an oasis in the middle of a bustling, desert way station for weary travelers. It is clean, serene and a refreshing stopover. The views from the hotel of the high desert and mountains are lovely.
The coffee needs to be checked and refilled regularly.

Front desk staff was welcoming and forthcoming with information regarding the July 4th fireworks show available that evening. We attended and enjoyed the suggestion.
Would’ve like a few more breakfast options but appreciated the amenity.
The building looked fairly new and it was close to the freeway.
Unfortunately, we found hair on our sheets for both beds, and it didn’t look like they did a very good job cleaning the beds and room. There was a McFlurry leftover from the previous guests sitting in the fridge. There were stains still on the counters. Some of our other rooms, straight up were not clean with trash on the ground and old sheets still on with blood stains. The owners and staff changed out the sheets and “clean” but overall this was a disappointing experience and is not up to the standards I would expect from a hotel associated with Hilton.
The shampoo/body wash/conditioner in the shower were empty. But it was too late at night to complain to get more.
The breakfast was just okay. A message to the hotel: please don’t water down the waffle batter and make sure the juice are dispensing juice and not just watered down juice. There was only 1 person working in the breakfast area between bringing out the foods, cleaning, emptying trash…
This hotel has potential but unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning. My advice to fellow travelers: drive an extra 45 mins to Elko and you’ll have more options for lodging and restaurants.

The pool being closed and the lady at the front desk was rude and unhelpful
Parking lot was well lit. Shower had nice pressure. Bed was comfortable.
Carpet was old looking. There was a terrible smell getting off the elevator on the second floor.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone find a cheaper place to stay this place is a piece of crap
