It was a very enjoyable experience besides the TV issue.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and accommodating when my original room’s TV did not work at all, they immediately switched us to another room.

Cons:

There was not anything I did not like.

No more Tru by Hilton for us!
Pros:

Ice machines were working and plenty of ice available. Located within a few miles of restaurants and gas stations. Bed was comfortable and acceptable once the pillowcases were changed. There were some gluten free options at breakfast if only they were stocked.

Cons:

Our bathroom was visibly dirty with dirt and smears on the bottom of the shower and shower doors. The bottom of the toilet had dirt streaks. Let person at reception know and took pictures to show him but received no apology nor offer to move to another room. We were initially denied our complimentary water bottles and told the reason was because we booked through booking.com and not directly with the hotel. This was our 10th and final stay at Hilton during our travels before heading home and by far, the worst. I asked for new pillowcases since the ones on the bed looked like they had not been changed and we were able to get those and change them. When I showed the pictures to the person at reception I was told to email them to the GM, which I did that same night with a note expressing our disappointment with our accommodations. To date, we still have not received a response. Breakfast would be nice here if it was stocked until 10am which is when it ends. This is the second Tru we stayed with that either had no regular creamers for coffee or ran out completely. We went down for breakfast at 915am and there was nothing available or stocked.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel, great overnight stay.
Pros:

Location, close to everything. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, staff was very friendly.
