Pros:

I first stayed in this hotel 11 years ago and their standards have never dropped. Their customer service is to a high standard - attentive and helpful, and the cleanliness of the hotel is always spotless. The location is very convenient to buses, trains, Shinkansen; and AEON mall with eateries, retail outlets and a supermarket was a bonus. For tourists, the new TeamLabs Biovortex is a short walk away.

Great value for money and bigger rooms than expected.

Pros:

I loved that after an exhausting day going around Kyoto and neighbouring attractions, the hotel is right in front of Kyoto Station. There is also Aeon right next door as well. You can grab dinner at the supermarket which are discounted after a certain time! Kurasu Coffee stand is also walking distance from the hotel.

Cons:

I wished it had coin laundry in the hotel.
