Great- Location- Staff- Stay
Pros:

The Hotel Staff , very nice, very helpful, very informative.
The location was very good, close to the train station, shopping & bus center for touring the sights. The room was good in size, enough room to accommodate a table & chairs comfortably & for our 4 pcs of luggage ( lots of souvenirs purchased)

The public areas was dated / worn.
Although it was somewhat dated in the public areas

Great location and a really nice overall hotel for room, cleanliness, staff friendliness and layout

Good value for money
Pros:

It was very close and walking distance from Kyoto station. Rooms were spacious as I was with my family i.e 2 adults and 2 kids. U have a water dispensar on each floor to fill your bottles while leaving the hotel.

Cons:

Nothing in generic.

数回のメールのやり取りにわたって、「領収書問題」は解決しましたので、「１」評価を撤回しました。有關[無法開立收據之問題] ，經過幾次書信提問後已獲飯店方解決，故收回[極差]評價。過程屢屢令人無奈，但仍是謝謝客室部フロントRooms, Front Office伊藤小姐解決此問題。

予約の際に、サイトとホテルにそれぞれ4回ほどのメールとメッセージに「出張のため、会社名を入れた領収書」との要請に、BOOKING側は「ホテル側にて発行」との返答、ホテル側は「承知しました」との返事を貰いました。けれど、残念なことに、実際チェックインした際に、ホテルから「ホテルでお支払いいただいていないものになりますので、領収書は発行できかねます。当初ご案内したとおり、チェックアウト時に宿泊証明書をお渡ししております。」との呆れた返事。仕方なく、BOOKINGサイトの領収書をみると、案の定、領収書の宛名は宿泊者名や社名ではなく、予約を取った私の個人名となってます。　「領収書に社名を記入する」、この問題を解決するには、どうしたらいいでしょうか？

An old hotel was not all rooms refurbished
Pros:

We were on a tour and were given a room on floor 2 to 5. The mattress was awful and no safe. We had to pay extra for a room on a better floor, 6 and above that had an acceptable mattress and a safe. There is a huge queue for breakfast if you don't get there early.

Great hotel near train station
Pros:

Very convenient location if wanting to stay close to train station. Nice size very clean room. Staff was helpful especially the very nice doorman who is very professional and provided top rate service helping us get a taxi and took great care in making sure the driver knew where we needed to go. There is a mall around the corner with lots of shops and restaurants. Also the train station right across the street was amazing access to /from next destination and also good for shopping and food - lots of restaurants within the station
