The room was quiet and spacious and the bed very comfortable. Easy to park and close to the ferry..great place to stay

Stayed for 1 night in late September 2025. The room was spacious, the onsite restaurant was great, with delicious meals. The morning breakfast provided some of the best croissants ever, probably from the nearby boulangerie. We were welcomed on arrival, and were provided with secure bicycle storage, which was ideal for us on our mini cycling holiday.

La chambre etait tres jolie et tres grande. La literie etait confortable et nous avons apprécié le silence. Le repas au restaurant et le petit dejeuner etaient parfait. Le parking dans l'enceinte de l'hôtel cest securisant. Nous avons ete tres bien qccueilli par le personnel. Je recommande cet hôtel

Plenty of parking in a secure compound, close to our room; consequently, it was convenient to carry our bags. In addition, it is not a multi-storey hotel, so no endless flights of stairs. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only criticism is that there were no English-speaking channels on the TV. Frequently, on the continent, you get BBC or CNN news.

Great place, convenient for visit of WWII sites and ferry home.

Very helpful staff. I felt very safe as a soli traveller. Car parking was very good. Lovely big room and en suite, comfy bed. I had an excellent evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast was good. I hope to stay again en route to the ferry

A very pleasant stay.

Despite the fact we arrived rather late, we were greeted very warmly and our room was lovely. The receptionist offered breakfast and I declined as I am a coeliac but she promised me GF bread and there it was ready for breakfast and very delicious too. We shall definitely look forward to staying again.

Nice room, spacious and a large comfortable bed. Dinner was very good and breakfast too

Nice pre ferry stop - good food, very good service.

Not a fan of room with no doors to shower, orherwise all good. We have stayed in other rooms with doors!

We have stayed here 4 times. It is convenient for the ferry. Always clean and has safe parking.
They have extended the property lately, so you might have a cheaper room in the annexe, which I believe is yet to be fully developed. The more expensive rooms are in the main building.The annexe room are small but clean and has a password for entry.

I booked to stay here for one night as it was close to the ferry and we were arriving late. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was amazed at how great the hotel was. We had a family room with two king size beds, they were incredibly comfortable and we almost didn’t make it to breakfast as we had slept in.
Breakfast was really lovely, this was an extra charge but well needed before a long drive.
Hotel was really easy to find, free parking available.

Une chambre très bien à l'étage sous le toit ce qui oblige à faire attention à sa tête quand on fait 1m80 mais très agréable et confortable. Rien à dire.

Particularly unfriendly and unhelpful staff at check-in. Room was extremely basic in spite of paying for a premium room.
