Ladies Weekend On the Town
Pros:

My friend and I came to stay the weekend for a 2 shows at Celebrities & The Red Room. After a hectic 5.5 hour drive from the Interior, we checked in much later than we anticipated, but we were warmly greeted by the helpful & accomodating front desk staff and concierge Henri, who was an absolute gem! They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and helped us load up our luggage. The room was just perfect for the 2 of us. We rented the suite with 2 double beds and the pullout couch, and after 2 nights of dancing, and walking all over the place, it was the perfect reprieve to order in some food and watch Netflix in the living room of our suite. We had no trouble connecting to the smart TV either, so that was a bonus. For it being right in the heart of downtown, we didn't find the city noise bothered us at all. Ear plugs drowned out the sound of the sirens and we had restful sleeps in the comfy beds. Great location for two ladies exploring on foot the wide array of night time music spots and good places to eat. We really appreciate the culture Vancouver City has to enjoy.

Cons:

Nothing to not like, and we are both well traveled, so our standards are high.

Was good until it wasn't.
Pros:

Location was good.

Cons:

Being double charged for the stay. 3 nights is not over $1800. Will Never stay here again. Use to be our favorite place when we vacation. My other guest couldn't even use her car as they charge their guests 45 dollars a night for parking.

Disappointed. Except for the concierge, he was very nice and helpful.
Pros:

Didn't have breakfast.

Cons:

I came by myself as my son was in hospital with a medical emergency. I checked in, paid with my credit card and they charged a $200 deposit! This is outrageous as far as I am concerned. I am 75, non smoker, excellent credit rating and I get charged a deposit!!!!!

More like two star hotel at best
Pros:

Staff were friendly, attentive. Rooms spacious and clean. Reasonably priced overnight parking and walkable neighborhood.

Cons:

Location on granville is not family friendly given amount of homeless and drug addicts, but I knew before booking. Building is dated, uncomfortable beds.
