Didn't have breakfast.
I came by myself as my son was in hospital with a medical emergency. I checked in, paid with my credit card and they charged a $200 deposit! This is outrageous as far as I am concerned. I am 75, non smoker, excellent credit rating and I get charged a deposit!!!!!
Staff were friendly, attentive. Rooms spacious and clean. Reasonably priced overnight parking and walkable neighborhood.
Location on granville is not family friendly given amount of homeless and drug addicts, but I knew before booking. Building is dated, uncomfortable beds.

Parking is expensive
Location was good. However, the housekeeping service was poor.
Shampoo, conditioner and soap was dead empty when we checked in at night ( we have to use our own) the next day they did not refill them, the third day, in the evening when we returned , still empty ( I left a note to them in the morning before we left our room reminding them to refill ). Only when I called them and waited for them inside the room to fill it out, then they finally do it. Nothing else was refilled when we stayed there for 4 nights, only towels (no more lotion, soap bar, showercap, etc)
I left something when I checked out, I realized few hours later and made a call. They said, no report of any left behind item, they asked me to call again next morning.
But again, they said, no report. I was frustated, I made another call and emailed them and send a pic of my missing item. Still no luck.
I came back to the hotel, and tell them about it again. I waited there, and the duty manager went somewhere behind the door, then he found my item. He told me that the report was never properly registred.
But again, location was good, but very noisy at night during weekend.
The staff were lovely and the rooms were comfortable. The king bed was amazingly comfortable.
Unfortunately not any fault of the hotel but there were a lot of druggies around the vicinity which was a bit off putting. Very sad that Vancouver has so many homeless and moreso those that turn to drugs. Put a dampener on our stay.

The location is ideal to downtown, transit and area is safe.
Personal. Manager was professional and comped my breakfast because of a plumbing issue w my room.
Having to relocate my room because the toilet was backing up with waste and toilet paper from other guests of the hotel (not from my use ) almost to the point of spilling over. Then having to relocate to a different room because of this issue.
Chambre agréable, on n'entend pas les voisins d'à coté ou au dessus.
Les fenêtres laissent passer trop de bruit de la rue.
