Good value, but not 4 star.
Pros:

We received an upgrade with an extra living area, which gave us lots of space.

Cons:

The hotel is a bit rundown, and could use renovation. It's graded as a four-star hotel, which it definitely is NOT.

Great hotel and good location.
Pros:

We had a good stay despite being at this hotel during the FIFA World Cup not realizing the street in front of the hotel was shut down for watch parties. The hotel was very clean and the staff was wonderful. I appreciated being thanked for being an elite rewards member. We were worried about the noise from the street but thankfully the rooms were quite sound proof and it didn’t bother us much. I do wish this hotel offered breakfast or at the very least breakfast at the hotel for a nominal fee. We used our points to stay at this hotel as it was quite expensive per night but wanted to give our kids the Vancouver experience and take them to Granville island. It was a short walk to the aqua bus where we were able to take the boat over to grandville island or you can tour around the harbour. Finding the parking garage through the chaos was a bit of a nightmare as there was a fire truck blocking the alleyway. I called the hotel and they gave us clear directions on how to navigate through the chaos and one way streets to get to the other end of the alley. I do wish parking was complimentary for elite rewards members as $36 per night is a little steep. Overall we were prepared for the worst with being in the middle of the World Cup craziness but pleasantly surprised by the hotel and staff. We would definitely stay here again but not during any big event.

Overall I we enjoyed our stay and had a lot of fun in Vancouver.
Pros:

You can access everything in downtown easily from the hotel. Walking is pleasant if you get a couple of blocks further from the hotel. The room was very big and clean. The furniture was old but clean.

Cons:

The furniture was too old and a bit depressing. The neighbourhood was too noisy and a bit dirty.

Pros:

1100 Granville St, Vancouver
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and valued. A special thank you to Tamim, who was exceptionally professional, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. He took the time to recommend places to visit and restaurants to try, which made my trip even more enjoyable.

The entire staff was courteous, attentive, and always willing to help. They took all my questions seriously and ensured that my needs were met promptly.

I would definitely return to this magnificent hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent service, a warm atmosphere, and a memorable experience.
