This was everything we expected from the hotel. Excellent location and value.
Pros:

Rooftop was perfect for adults. Rooms were clean and spacious. Great Shower. Fridge included. Big TV. Morning coffee. Close to shops and restaurants. Kind staff.

Cons:

Coffee cups for takeout need lids! Sorry, that's all I can come up with!

Great property. Slipping a bit but I will continue to go back, probably.
Pros:

I have stayed here many times. It’s generally clean, centrally located and checks all the boxes for me. I won’t lie, the common areas, especially pool area, has been slipping lately.

Cons:

I find it very frustrating that there is no way to get ahold of a manage in advance of a stay to negotiate a better rate, better view or some better value. I have stayed here for about 8 weeks in the last year, seven times in the last three years, and I’m still treated the same as a first time visitor. That’s just not fair.

Maids need to do a better job cleaning in between guests. Room was downright dirty when I arrived and I was too tired to argue. On the plus side, the staff really stepped things up during the recent lockdown despite being pretty freaked out themselves.

Pros:

We were there during the cartel trouble in February 2026 and the staff was amazing and took great care of us during lockdown. The room is basic and clean. Smelled a bit musty when we first walked in although improved over time. Would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room. Balcony furniture is basic and not overly comfortable. The bed was comfortable, shower is looking a bit worn but is good. The pool is great. The breakfast is very good. The hotel is in a very noisy spot as it is right on Francisco Madero Blvd and even with the balcony doors closed we could hear the traffic and the fair across the street. Also lots of noice from the air conditioners for the facility next door and the garbage truck that comes every night. PV is a lively, noisy spot and we love going. But we'll move on to someplace that isn't right on the street across from a noisy fair that goes till midnight every night. Still, can't say enough good about the staff. They were a bright spot.

Cons:

Our biggest issue is that the hotel didn’t have a portion of the beach for its residents. We sat on loungers belonging to Friendly’s and wondered when we could be kicked off.
