Hotel style and comfort level was very good.
The fact that it was on a busy street, four lanes of noisy traffic, 8am till late pm. Bring your ear plugs!
Great location
I arrived early around 1 o’clock and was told the room was ready but I had to pay an extra 300 pesos to get in before 3 o’clock they will nickel and dime you at the Mio staying 10 days I decided to book an extra 4 nights which I did. I was told I had to change rooms because I had booked a different class room. That’s understandable but the place was empty and a little common sense would have went a lot ng way in me choosing the Mio on my next trip. No exceptions I had to change rooms very poor service. Also the beds were very hard .
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well throughout our visit. The room was big enough and looked very similar to the pictures online, which was reassuring. Overall, we had a good experience. The upstairs pool was clean, relaxing, and a nice bonus during our stay.
One downside was that water tends to leak out of the shower, which makes the floor quite wet and a bit inconvenient. The shampoo and body wash provided were also of fairly low quality and could definitely be improved. Additionally, because the room is close to the street, it can get somewhat noisy, and the windows and doors are not soundproof. We were also required to wear wristbands during our stay, which felt a bit uncomfortable. Overall, these issues didn’t completely ruin the stay, but addressing them would make the experience much more comfortable.
The room was very comfortable and large. It was nice to have direct access to beach through neighbouring hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and dedicated during two-day security lockdown. Good value. Nice views
The rooftop pool was small for the size of the hotel. Traffic noise was more of an issue than anticipated...never used the balcony.
