Nice hotel and beautiful grounds. Breakfast was only ok. Not many choices . Disappointed . Other hotels we stayed at throughout Italy ALWAYS gave you free bottled water. And more than one if you wanted. This hotel does not which is ridiculous during the hot weather.

This is a nice hotel in a small city. It is updated, clean and convenient to nearby attractions, and there is a wonderful full-service, fine dining restaurant on the property. The breakfast is very good. Service was wonderful - everyone was friendly and willing to go above and beyond to assist. There is also a nice pool and lobby bar. We will definitely stay here again if visiting Avellino.

Il castagnaccio.
Pros:

Volevamo andare a Montella per la sagra delle castagne e abbiamo pensato di fermarci presso l'hotel de la ville. Un buon albergo, la stanza era pulita, il bagno un po' piccolo ma pulito. L'unica visibilità all'esterno era una finestra rivolta verso la montagna. Non ho riscontrato nessuna deficienza degna di critica.

Ottimo ristorante e servizio
Pros:

Camera ampia e ben illuminata con vista sul giardino con piscina. Arrivato alle 23 ho cenato nell’ottimo ristorante dell' hotel che con mio piacere chiudeva alle 24. Colazione non all’altezza, forse esaurita dal gruppo di due pullman di turisti. Personale molto gentile.

A must stay in Avellino !!
Pros:

This hotel is truly outstanding! Beautiful and very clean with excellent staff who are very accommodating. Excellent restaurant and dinner was truly an amazing experience from the food to the attentive wait staff. I’d give more than 5 stars if possible.

Dinner at Cavalino
Pros:

I went for dinner to the Cavalino restaurant with my family from the USA, who were staying at the hotel. We had a great experience. The food was fantastic and the wine refreshing. What made our dinner even better was the attention of the staff, their experience and friendly approach. I would definitely recommend it.

The staff were extremely helpful; attempting to answer our questions and offer us suggestions despite us knowing very little Italian.

Giuseppe, the chef and waiter (a man of many hats), charmingly doted on us by regularly bringing us drinks as we sat in the garden and providing us with excellent, on-the-house, culinary creations alongside our meals.

The pool was also beautiful and cold, exactly what was needed during the hot summer days.
