The experience in Anantara was all perfect. Especially thanks to Youseff, he was kind all the morning.

Lovely hotel and deserving of its 5* status. Staff were wonderful and check-in was a smooth experience. Rooms had a small but perfectly situated balcony with a sea view and sunny aspect. The rooftop breakfast was good quality and the in the evenings was the ideal place to sit and watch the sunset over the ocean. Would not hesitate to stay again if we I return to nice.

Polite and engaging staff in a very well presented hotel. Breakfast buffet is very good and the rooftop restaurant gives a wonderful perspective of the city and the very nearby coastline. Our garden view terrace room was excellent and a very good size with everything you might need, including a pod coffee machine.
We would happily chose this hotel again.

Elina in the restaurant was lovely and made our breakfast feel special. The food was glorious, so much choice my goodness!

What a phenomenal property with the perfect location. While the rooms may be a little tight, the service staff and amenities more than make up for it. Nothing "corporate" about breakfast as it's top tier with perfectly curated baguette and pastries. The hotel is even the best place for a late night craft cocktail or bottle of champagne.

The staff have been attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. Elina greeted us at breakfast with such warmth and kindness that she instantly made our mornings brighter. We look forward to seeing her every day for the remainder of our stay

I stayed and dined at the hotel for four days. It is a wonderful hotel with plenty of luxury and great attention to its guests. Elina, who took care of my breakfast every morning, is an absolute star! She looked after me so well each morning. A solid 10 for Elina! I will definitely come back.

After a lovely experience at the Anantara Nice Hotel this past summer, I knew I had to return—this time bringing my mom along to enjoy the Holiday season together. The Christmas market directly across from the hotel, the promise of mild winter weather, fewer tourists, and the calming Mediterranean Sea all made this the perfect choice for our mother–daughter getaway.

From the moment we arrived, the welcome reception was once again warm and personalized. Even though we had booked different room types, the staff made every effort to place our rooms near each other, which we deeply appreciated. We were both given incredible accommodations overlooking the Christmas market and the Sea—a truly enchanting view during the holidays. Each room greeted us with a bottle of wine and sweet treats, setting the tone for a thoughtful and indulgent stay.

The rooms themselves were exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and surprisingly quiet despite the festive market below. Daily housekeeping was perfectly timed, and the evening turndown service—complete with more sweet treats—was always a delight. The small in-room touches made everything feel elevated: a heated towel rack, umbrella, tea and coffee maker, a well-stocked minibar with snacks, two bottles of water replenished daily, a wonderfully comfortable bed, Chromecast for streaming, intuitive lighting, and plenty of outlets including USB ports.

Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was consistently excellent. The buffet offered a generous spread of French pastries, meats, fruits, cereals, and hot options like bacon, sausage, and eggs. You could also order a fresh Benedict, along with coffee or tea. The service each morning was friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming.

What truly sets the Anantara Nice Hotel apart is the staff. They went above and beyond for both major and minor requests, always with kindness and sincerity. A few standout moments:

• When I accidentally broke the wine opener inside the cork, a staff member returned to my room three separate times—bringing a new bottle, a new opener, opening it for me, and even pouring the first glass to ensure everything was perfect.

• When we asked for a simple bag to carry our evening wear for Christmas Eve at Château Eza, the team surprised us with a complimentary garment bag that felt both thoughtful and elegant.

• After an online glitch prevented my in-room breakfast order from being confirmed, a staff member followed up two days later during breakfast, explained the issue, and offered to deliver the in-room breakfast the morning of my checkout.

• The team even welcomed us to take a few photos by the lobby Christmas tree for our mom–daughter holiday photo shoot—another small gesture that meant a lot.

The hotel’s location is unbeatable: steps away from high-end shopping, excellent restaurants, the beach, the casino, and several museums. It’s the kind of place where staying 7–10 days feels not only reasonable but ideal if you want to experience everything Nice has to offer.

Ultimately, it’s the people who make this hotel truly exceptional. Every interaction feels personal, peaceful, and effortless. The Anantara Nice Hotel has become a place I look forward to returning to—a home away from home where hospitality is not just practiced, but lived!

Significant price difference between reservation & check out was very dissapointing. There was no understanding of their mistake which was very frustrating.

The breakfast buffet food fresh and a lot of options for anyone that has dietary restrictions. The food presentation is something you see out of a magazine. They made sure it remained that look while people grabbed their food. Elina was FABULOUS! She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. If I had to rate the food and service out of 10, I would give it 20/10! I have nothing bad to say.

We absolutely loved our time at Anantara. It’s a beautiful property that manages to strike a perfect balance—retaining classic European charm while offering pristine, modern amenities. The breakfast was a highlight with a fantastic spread of breads, fruits, and meats. Most importantly, the staff made us feel truly cared for. A special shout-out to Elina, our breakfast hostess, who was wonderful; she was attentive, quick, and made sure we had exactly what we needed.

checkin was time consuming- we were initially placed in room 412 which had a tiny perimeter of walking space around the king bed. there was literally no room to put a luggage rack. i cannot fathom what they expect people to do with their luggage in the 21 sq meter room. i complained and was put in room 409 which i was told was the same category room- not sure why they didn't just assign us that room from the beginning. our new room was reasonably sized and had a nice partial ocean view. due to the positioning of the hotel, none will have a full on ocean view. our little patio was very nice to sit on at the beginning and ends of the day. there was a lively christmas market going on in front of the hotel with rather loud music blaring until about 9 or 10 pm.
the next morning we noticed the nespresso machine was absent. coffee pods were in the room but there was no machine to use them. we certainly did not want to be charged for a missing machine and also wanted some morning coffee so we ended up calling several times to convince them that the machine was in fact missing. they said they would be bringing a machine for us soon. we waited about an hour and no one showed. at that point we wanted to start our day so we left. the manager extended a voucher for 2 drinks in the rooftop bar which was very beautiful.

Lovely hotel. Very modern room and very quiet. Excellent location for shopping, walking to promenade and restaurants. We ate breakfast in their 6th floor dining room with a view of the sea. Unlimited choices. My only criticism is that they charge extra for diet soda. There's so many choices of breakfast items and hot drinks yet they charge for a soft drink. However, I would stay there again. Excellent staff.

Great location, service and the actual room. Quality exceeded expectations. The breakfast was very good and the view amazing.

The first night was great, bed was so clean and comfortable and there was no noise, I am super sensitive to that and I was worried because it is such a large hotel. A room was very comfortable.
The included breakfast buffet surpassed my expectation. The staff was so kind. Elina helped us and was particularly attentive, we really appreciated the fast and friendly service. The buffet itself was beautiful and the view OMG, to die for, the definition of French Riviera. We will definitely come back here anytime we come to visit.
