Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel - A Leading Hotel of the World

Just spent a week in a lovely balcony room overlooking the Carnival celebrations. The Anantara is centrally located and within a 10-minute walk of basically everything Nice has to offer, so makes a great jumping off point.

Breakfast every morning in Seen was delicious and a great value, especially if booked into a breakfast included rate. The view from Seen is incomparable and great during breakfast and for afternoon cocktails. Traveling alone, I talk to everybody. All of the hosts and servers were helpful and friendly, putting up with my terrible French and English speaking. Franck was particularly friendly and made my breakfast and afternoon cocktails even more enjoyable.

My room was clean and housekeeping was excellent the entire week. Best of all, I had an excellent view of the Carnival
parade from my balcony. Perfect location for a perfect week!

The location and decor of this hotel are exceptional, but the people and service are what will bring us back. We had several great meals at the hotel, and the staff were very inviting. We came during the first couple of days of Carnaval, and it was right outside our balcony. Some icing on the cake!

We loved our stay in February 2026. The entire hotel was beautiful and very clean, and in a perfect location. The employees were all very attentive and kind. We stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the sea, and it was perfect. We appreciated the turndown service and bottles of water.
We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, and had plenty of options to choose from. We would definitely stay at the Anantara on a return trip, and would recommend it to friends and family.

Our stay at Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel was lovely. The hotel itself is beautiful, impeccably managed, with a level of seamlessness that truly reflects luxury hospitality.

The true value of our hotel stay however was thanks to Alex a staff member overseeing LES COLONNADES - LOBBY.
Alex is a delightful, very well-educated young man working in the lobby lounge and an absolute credit to the hotel. He was exceptionally warm, professional, and generous with his time, providing detailed and thoughtful recommendations for Nice, Monaco, Cannes and Èze. Alex shared fascinating local history and insider tips—from walking the Croisette in Cannes and exploring Le Suquet, car spotting in Monaco, visiting the Prince of Monaco’s car collection, and enjoying scenic walks through the old town and Port Hercules. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine care truly enhanced our South of France experience. We followed many of his suggestions and loved them. Highly recommended

We dropped in around 13h after seeing the place from the Ferris wheel, with no reservation and looking fairly ordinary, and yet got a splendid welcome from the front door to the rooftop table. The staff is super friendly as well as competent, the view is amazing and the service was great throughout, and the food was exquisite. We had the rice, spinach and the entrecôte. Highly recommended, will plan a stay there.

Lovely hotel and deserving of its 5* status. Staff were wonderful and check-in was a smooth experience. Rooms had a small but perfectly situated balcony with a sea view and sunny aspect. The rooftop breakfast was good quality and the in the evenings was the ideal place to sit and watch the sunset over the ocean. Would not hesitate to stay again if we I return to nice.

Polite and engaging staff in a very well presented hotel. Breakfast buffet is very good and the rooftop restaurant gives a wonderful perspective of the city and the very nearby coastline. Our garden view terrace room was excellent and a very good size with everything you might need, including a pod coffee machine.
We would happily chose this hotel again.

Elina in the restaurant was lovely and made our breakfast feel special. The food was glorious, so much choice my goodness!

What a phenomenal property with the perfect location. While the rooms may be a little tight, the service staff and amenities more than make up for it. Nothing "corporate" about breakfast as it's top tier with perfectly curated baguette and pastries. The hotel is even the best place for a late night craft cocktail or bottle of champagne.

The staff have been attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. Elina greeted us at breakfast with such warmth and kindness that she instantly made our mornings brighter. We look forward to seeing her every day for the remainder of our stay
