Nice girl at reception! Clean bed linen
Felt unsafe, broken and shabby furniture and fixtures, no security chain on room door and door not properly fitted, off street access to building no lock to main doors to be rooms
Located in good area
Boiler making very loud noises above room all night
Its proximity to where I needed to get to each day
The everlasting thunderous noise throughout the evening and nights which sounded like a washing machine the size of Big Ben, not sure what it was whether linked to the water system but its continuation was relentless. Ear plugs would help to prevent interrupted sleep.
Didn’t have breakfast put us off by saying they didn’t have a working fully kitchen
I don’t think it’s value for the money very run down paid a lot To stay there for the two nights it definitely wasn’t worth it it’s very run down very basic the only good thing was the staff were very polite
Location is good, clean rooms
It’s just a bit tired looking, needs a make over. Rooms are dark.
the shower build.....
The somewhat frosted window in the shower room, didn't appear to be fully closed but was secure. I imagined this enticing any peeping Tom, Dick or Harry. I didn't appreciate the towel rail radiator - which i burnt myself on in spite of the warning sign high above out of eyeline. Does it really need to be wired to come on when the light switch is switched on? I'm not convinced that it should be the case. Furthermore, the shower screen opens outwards which makes stepping into he bath to have a shower difficult. How about installing a grab-rail so that anyone can transfer safely?? The ceiling light in the room outside the shower, by the ironing facility and cupboard mirror was broken upon arrival. The space between the end of the bed and desk didn't allow for any comfortable studying. Alas the wide angled phots on the website were always gonna be deceiving.
One staff member upon checking in advised there was access to a microwave, so i did a mini shop at the Tesco's about 90secs away. Realised there's no mini fridge. The next day was told by a different member of staff there's NO access to a microwave. Which rendered my Tesco shopping items perishable - jings and crivvens!
Everything
Pricy for 1 night
Happy
Although a little dated, the room was clean and comfortable and offered what we needed. It was quiet, and there were no noise issues with being on the main road.
The hotel lacks character and could do with a refresh.
Room was basic but clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Very little noise in the room we stayed in, which was a bonus.
Hotel could do with modernisation. Entrance appearance could do with a make-over which would enhance first impressions. Room did not have a safe.

Everything
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was lovely
Nothing as the property when I checked into the first room there was people at the back off the car park making noises and I told the receptionist first he wouldn't change the room and after I asked him again which he did change the room and said mate you will still here noises from the second room too.
Nothing as nothing is being done as I would like a refund for not staying over night and checking out straight away
