• Dress Code: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie (jeans and sportswear are not permitted for either ladies or gentlemen) for Afternoon Tea and lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant and The Ritz Room. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery, and the Cigar Lounge), smart casual attire is required. Please note that shorts, ripped jeans, trainers and sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel’s restaurants or bars.
• Please be aware that The Ritz London requires guests to provide photographic identification during check-in. Non-UK residents are requested to provide a valid passport, while UK residents can present either a valid passport or a full UK driving license.
• Please note that an additional bed/sofa bed can be provided in the Deluxe King Room, Junior Suite, and Deluxe Suite for a charge of GBP 115 for a guest aged 16 years and older.
• The Ritz prides itself on delivering the high service standards. Therefore, a discretionary accommodations service charge of 5% will be added to your bill.
When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs GBP 65 per day.
Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot.

People 16 years old and over stay for £115 per person per night when using an available extra bed.

Lousy service. I arrived after dinner at 00.12 and the door of the hotel was closed, nobody inside ready to open and I had to hammer with my fists against the closed doors. There was no doorbell to ring outside the door. After a few minutes somebody showed up and opened the door.
This is something that can be expected in a two stars little family managed country boarding house not in a hotel in downtown London, let alone the Ritz.
From the moment I entered the Ritz to the second I checked out, the experience has been memorable.
The doorman whose name I forget, was ever so accommodating and helpful in guiding me to the reception. The lady housekeeper was so kind to give me a tour of the hotel and help with a few photos. What can I say about the lovely, hardworking room attendant who provided turn down service! In general, the staff get all the stars! Their hospitality was deeply heart-felt and they were able to satisfy my odd requests.
As for the room, it exceeded my expectations! I loved the size, the comfort of bed/pillows and the elegance of a bygone era. I miss it already and looking forward to coming back again!
There is no swimming pool however, my room included a bath so I was able to enjoy a bubble bath.
It might be useful to include a kettle in the room.
An unforgettable experience! The Ritz London truly lives up to its legendary reputation. From the moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed with exceptional hospitality and warm smiles. The room was spotless, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The atmosphere of the hotel is pure luxury and history combined — you really feel special staying here. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The location is also amazing, right in the heart of London. I would 100% recommend The Ritz to anyone looking for a classy, luxurious stay. Can’t wait to come back!
3 of us had afternoon tea today . What an absolutely fantastic experience we all had . From the gentleman on the front doors welcoming us into the hotel , the cloak attendant and other staff welcoming us and made us feel so welcome . The selection of sandwiches , warm scones and cakes was so good and plenty of them . The waiter who served us was absolutely wonderful ( forgot to ask his name ) , telling us about what food we would be eating , checking we were all ok, offering us fresh pots of teas etc, he was so attentive .
It was also my cousins birthday and they brought out a lovely little birthday cake , such a nice touch that really made my cousins afternoon memorable. The waiters also offered to take our pictures , it wasn’t a problem for them . It was just perfection and I just couldn’t fault it .
Also someone on a piano playing lovely music in the background.
The hotel is so luxurious and it was a total pleasure to be there . I will definitely come back to The Ritz with my friends , total 5 star experience. Thank you .
I booked afternoon tea for my Mum’s 60th birthday, which is something she’s always wanted to do. We had the best day! The service was absolutely first class from the moment we set foot inside the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. There was a wide selection of sandwiches (which were bottomless) as well as delicious cakes and scones. There was also a cake trolley with fresh cakes offered. Mum and I were seated at the front of the room and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. A talented harpist playing whilst we enjoyed our afternoon tea made the atmosphere even more magical! Everything about the hotel was first class and we enjoyed every second. Would highly recommend the experience for anyone thinking of going.
Booked the first seating for afternoon tea, which had a lovely atmosphere. There was a wide selection of teas, drinks, sandwiches, scones, pastries and cakes. We were also gifted a box of pastries each to take home, which was a very nice touch. We will come again.
Ahmad and another gentlemen looking after us were really attentive and lovely.
Vegan vegetarian options available on request which was much appreciated and equally delightful.

Everything really lives up to the expectations and reputations. From the hotel itself to the amazing people working there. From breakfast, to little attention that made the real difference.

This iconic hotel has exemplary service; incredible food and drinks! It is probably the best hotel I’ve been to in the world for service and food. Rita the Manager could not have done more to look after us; help us; give me the best 60th birthday ever. Undoubtedly they deserve the best restaurant in the UK and two Michelin stars.
