TRAM Bologna: Urban Development Update – A Step Towards a Greener Future
We are pleased to inform you that, as part of an important urban development initiative already underway in Bologna, construction works will begin in front of our hotel from early June 2025 until the end of the year.
This phase involves the installation of tracks for the city’s new electric tram line, which is expected to become fully operational in 2026.
This project will lead to the full pedestrianization of Via dell’Indipendenza, significantly enhancing the tranquility, safety, and charm of the area.
Once completed, our guests will enjoy a quieter, cleaner, and more sustainable environment right in front of our property.
We are proud to share this forward-looking transformation, which reflects Bologna’s strong commitment to sustainability and to promoting a more walkable, people-friendly cityscape — especially along the city’s main boulevard, where the Grand Hotel Majestic is proudly located.
Throughout the construction period, and once the tram is operational, our guests will still be able to arrive by car via the hotel’s side entrance on Via Manzoni, as already happens on weekends and public holidays.

Unvergesslicher Aufenthalt mit kulinarischem Highlight!

Wir haben vor Kurzem einige Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht und sind restlos begeistert. Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise hat einfach alles gestimmt. Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach unschlagbar. Man befindet sich direkt im pulsierenden Zentrum, sodass alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten, Geschäfte und Cafés bequem zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Parkservice: Der Valet-Service funktionierte tadellos und stressfrei – ein riesiger Pluspunkt in dieser zentralen Lage! Unser Zimmer war hervorragend ausgestattet. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und Komfort gelegt wird. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die makellose Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotelbereich. Das Housekeeping leistet hier wirklich ganze Arbeit, sodass man sich sofort wohl und willkommen fühlt. Das gesamte Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Egal ob an der Rezeption oder im Service – man begegnete uns stets mit einem Lächeln und war bei jedem Anliegen sofort zur Stelle. Das absolute Highlight unseres Aufenthalts war jedoch das Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant. Wir hatten hohe Erwartungen, aber diese wurden bei Weitem übertroffen. Die Küche bewegt sich zweifellos auf gehobenem Sternen-Niveau. Jeder Gang war sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich ein Kunstwerk – ein Muss für jeden Feinschmecker! Ein Hotel, das Luxus, erstklassigen Service und kulinarische Exzellenz perfekt vereint. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Requinte e comodidade no centro histórico de Bolonha.
Pros:

Hotel excelente dentro do centro histórico e perto das principais atrações de Bolonha. Tudo pode ser feito a pé. Bons restaurantes e lojas nos arredores. O prédio do hotel é histórico e lá já se hospedaram grandes artistas, príncipes e princesas. Vale a pena o investimento. Café da manhã muito bom. Cama confortável e muito limpo e organizado. Funcionários muito atenciosos.
