Categories

Cleanliness
6.5
Mixed to negative comments: some guests reported damp/very humid rooms, wet wardrobes and sheets, and discomfort with carpeted rooms (described as unhygienic), though other guests noted rooms were clean.
Service
10
Consistently praised: staff repeatedly described as very friendly, welcoming and helpful (reception, valet, parking attendants), with multiple guests explicitly commending service and willingness to resolve issues.
Location
10
Uniformly excellent: repeatedly described as superb/perfect/very central, close to the old town and seafront and within easy walking distance of attractions.
Room Quality
7.1
Mixed but leaning negative: many guests found rooms small, somewhat outdated, with small bathrooms and issues (some requested extra mattress toppers; terrace rooms may be less private). Several reviews mention tiny bathrooms and lack of modern walk-in showers.
Amenities
6.5
Negative mentions: missing toiletries (shampoo/slippers/robes/lotion), empty minibar in some 'superior' rooms, tea machine/b kettle not working for some guests, and weak AC reported by at least one guest.
Value for Money
7.6
Mixed: multiple guests felt the hotel was overpriced for its standing (complaints about high parking fees and perceived overpricing), but some guests accepted the cost given the prime location and service.
Food and Beverage
9.5
Generally positive: breakfast described frequently as good or very good compared with similar hotels (terms like 'quite good', 'buffet good', 'wspaniałe śniadanie'), though a few guests found it only 'okay' or limited.
Overall Experience
10
Overall positive: many guests would return and highlight the combination of superb location and excellent staff as the main reasons for a very positive stay, despite noted issues with rooms/amenities and some cleanliness concerns.

Bestwestern Messena Hotel
Pros:

Cons:
