I was happy to stay with Hotel Victoria.
Pros:

Ver close to train station. The room equipped with A/C. It is a surprise and super plus for a hot day.

Cons:

The breakfast was so simple. It didn't even provide eggs.

Pros:

Pros:

Extremamente confortável, é antigo mas tem um ótimo ar refrigerado, coisa rara na Suíça, banheiro excelente, quartos espaçosos, localização imbatível. Perto da estacao e do metrô.

Wir haben wohl das schönste Zimmer des Hotels erhalten!
Genauso muss ein Hotel aussehen, ausgestattet sein und dazu noch die hervorragende Lage.
Einfach wunderbar!
Wir freuen uns bereits auf den nächsten Aufenthalt.

Cons:

Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist. Der Bahnhof Lausanne wird wohl noch mehrere Jahre eine Baustelle sein.
Das hat aber absolut nichts mit dem Hotel zu tun.

Value for money
Pros:

Our room was renovated and very spacious, on the fifth floor with a side lake view. Loved it, one of the biggest rooms I have stayed. The breakfast is quite basic but nice quality so fine. So convinient next to the train station and the metro.

Cons:

The lounge, where also the breakfast is served needs some work, like reupholdering the furniture, changing the carpet maybe. Keep the classic decor, but not old feel.

Pros:

Great location by the railway station and metro. Free public transport in the immediate area. Clean property with adequate breakfast.

Good location to the station, when booking, ask for a refurbished room.

Cons:

Our first room was in the basement although it did have a window. Our bathroom had a leak in the ceiling and so we were moved to one of the refurbished rooms which was fantastic
