We had a great vacation there. Staff are friendly and helpful
Pros:

Location is great. Walking distance to many restaurants and other hotel beaches. Rooms were good. Restaurant on the premises.

Cons:

Need more chairs to sit at the pool side tables. Usually groups who rent the garden rooms at the pool first floor take all the chairs. Leaving other tables without chairs.

Wonderful week at this lovely hotel with a real Caribbean atmosphere and a fabulous location
Pros:

We really enjoyed our week long stay at this lovely hotel. The location is perfect, a short walk from St Lawrence Gap but far enough away to be peaceful with just the sounds of the tree frogs at night. The restaurant has amazing sea views and there is easy access to a lovely beach. We ate breakfast at the hotel every morning looking at the gorgeous views. We had dinner there twice too. The food was well cooked and delicious and the service was excellent- warm and friendly. We had a standard room which was very clean and was decorated in lovely bright colours, fitting with the island. It had everything we needed. We are really missing Barbados and staying at Dover Beach Hotel and hope to come back soon.

Excellent value for the price
Pros:

This is a small, family owned (non-chain) hotel at one end of St. Lawrence Gap. It has a great location right on the beach, and the main pool and restaurant areas both border the Atlantic Ocean. The restaurants, bars and shops of St Lawrence Gap are all within walking distance of the hotel. It may not have all the bells and whistles of a larger hotel but it's got the beach, nicely kept up pools, a great three meal a day restaurant and bar, and it is much less money than the other South Coast hotels. Our one quibble was that the internet access was usually slow.

I liked the location but not not a three star hotel
Pros:

Rooms were clean but needed updating. Our unit in the main building was facing the pool with an ocean view. There are at least three buildings in the complex that differ in view and layout. Our bedroom was tight to the edges of the bed with a main room that was open and a bit of wasted space with a small pull out couch in one corner and small table in the other. The balcony was nice but the chairs were cheap plastic and uncomfortable. The bathroom needed a gutting. Kitchen was not bad with a gas stove top and new fridge. No smoke detector visible which was concerning given the gas stove top which we never used. No dishwasher, no dish soap, no plug for the kitchen sink so I assume housekeeping simply rinsed your dishes (ugh). The hotel was close to a strip of restaurants and bars. The hotel restaurant was good, located by the pool with open air seating only.

Enoyable stay in Barbados
Pros:

Excellent location at the beach and staff were very helpful, nice food and happy hour. well placed for visiting the island

Cons:

The hotel is nice but in need of some renovation. The pictures are better than real life and our room was opposite a building site.
