Birthday celebrations in Paris - Sofitel did not disappoint
Pros:

Staff we very friendly, accomodating and helpful - there appeared to be lots of people around at breakfast to assist and the restaurant was not over busy. The rooms were kept beautifully tidy with added touches of mood lighting / slippers and ambient back ground music playing after evening turndown

Cons:

The bar closed very early - Saturday night after 10:30 we couldnt get a night cap having been to a show which was disappointing but not a deal breaker :)

Accor customer service - total disaster
Pros:

Be aware the Accor price gurantee is a fraud. They are doing everything in their power not to pay out the guarantee. Doesnt matter how solid your case is. In my case they finally compared my price including taxes with a price excluding taxes…

1780€ 2 nuit mais parking non compris! Au final je suis restée qu’une nuit.

J’ai pris une suite exprès pour avoir 2 lit et au final un grand lit double.. pour le prix de la chambre je pensais avoir des lits séparés.

Expensive and really not worth the money for the unhygienic state .
Pros:

The location was greatest thing about the property together with a staff member who saw to us at the front desk called Jonathan

Cons:

Let’s start with the state of the rooms . It is absolutely unhygienic dust everywhere in each corner . The carpets in the passages are old and dirty . There is horrid housekeeping don’t expect your water or milk etc to be replaced without asking . Nothing is wiped even your table it is just deplorable .
