That everything we needed was onsite. The staff were SO helpful.
Nothing to not like. A suggestion if you are visiting to attend Suncorp stadium. It’s a short walk to Roma Street station, downhill. Catch the train to Milton and arrive at the stadium via the walkway. Catch the train back, then a cab from the station to the Mercure. You’ll be glad you did.
Everything
Nothing
Booked very last minute as change to travel plans and needed to be close to Roma Street
Nice little balcony overlooking the city
Arrived after 9pm. Very limited room service choice and no other options nearby by apartment from ordering in
central location
mediocre appearance overall
Need more bacon
Car park shit for large 4x4
Didn’t get to stay at Mercure as they apparently “over booked” which was really disappointing.
Didn’t get to stay there - very disappointed.
Would rate it but didn't get to stay there.
Staying at the Sho Ho
Room was good, location
Staff unhappy, struggled to understand you
Clean, friendly staff, secure
Bed hard, pillows hard, very tight confusing car park, power points in bathroom did not work, noisy construction next door
Staff in every area were exceptional, we had a pillow issue which was sorted very quickly. Noise travels through the building a lot. We were upgraded to celebrate a birthday and anniversary, very spoilt with fruit/chocolate plate and wine, lovely unexpected touch and greatly appreciated. Dinners at the restaurant were great, Staff member Isis was very attentive. The free bus directly at the front of the building made getting to the city very easy. We will definitely return.
Noise of doors slamming through the night.
Clean, comfortable bed, nice location
Parking was a bit tricky
