I love the huge room and bed! Very comfortable. Great location.
Location was excellent - quiet and convenient for getting anywhere in San Francisco. Staff went above and beyond at all times and the complimentary morning coffee and ‘wine hour’ was very much appreciated
Everything was very comfortable. It would have been nice to have had one comfortable chair in the room.
The front stairs. they were a little daunting as they were very uneven.
The room was very large and clean. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable and there were many things available if you forgot something at home.
The room was a bit overpriced and could use a couch and table. The room was so big but felt empty. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. Parking was really difficult. The garage is set up funky and extremely difficult to park in.
Excellent location next to Japantown - very easy to walk to nearby mall and restaurants. The rooms were very quiet and the attached garage was perfect for our car.
I loved everything about property. It was tasteful, and clean. The entire premises made me feel at peace.
Nice hotel, great location
No complaints
LOCATION
NEED ONE FRIMER PILLOW
We stayed here the night before a surgery at UCSF. The total cost for a corner room for a single night with parking was over $700, which is total highway robbery for a hotel of this quality. The room is OK, with a decent bathroom and linens, but the windows are old with major gap in the panels of our sliding glass door, which resulted in significant outside noise coming into the room. We were in the 6th floor in the corner room, which was a slight upgrade over the basic rooms. This room should bar been at a discount to the other rooms, as the extra windows on 2 sides of the room allowed for even more noise to come into the room, including from large mechanical equipment on a roof just below our room. We would not stay here again.
Just had a lovely 2 night stay at Hotel Enso. Great location in Japantown, next to the #2 bus that goes straight to Union Square, or the #22 to the Marina (download the muni app for tickets). Just across the street from the hotel is a pedestrian block with cute restaurants and shops: Hinodeya Ramen bar was excellent! A little further is a mall with a large Daiso.
We had a relaxing breakfast at the hotel one morning. The food was carefully prepared, beautiful and delicious, but probably not a great choice if you are in a rush (we were not and really enjoyed it!). The following morning we walked three blocks to Sweet Maple for brunch featuring millionaire bacon.
At the hotel we enjoyed the complimentary wine at 5pm and the morning coffee in the lobby. No coffee in the rooms, but looks like you can request a coffee maker for your room among other things.
Our room was clean, peacefully decorated, and comfortable. Loved the soap and shampoo scents. The TV didn’t have streaming apps except for $25 movie sales. But if you bring your own devices the free WiFi is fast enough.
Clean, welcoming staff, convenient, great location, comfortable bed, quiet and the water refill stations were a plus!
That there was no parking for us at the hotel
