Not worth it!!!

Housekeeping horrible. Didn’t speak English. Won’t allow food or coolers on their section of beach, but no guarantee you will get a chair or umbrella at beach. Water stations did not have cups.

I loved the property its reputation does perceive it. Old Victorian hotel that survived so many hurricanes. A beautiful hotel with an elegant aged mode. I loved it. Over doing the historic ghost feeling I always associate with The Outlook from The shining truly a unique experience.

Cons:

Everything the staff the other guests the ghosts the wallpapers the rugs the in room dining. A total luxury experience I had a difficult time going back to Hitchcock but I did.

Although our room was beautiful and comfortable, the shower was not up to excellence depending on when you took a shower …you got either a warm,cold only or a hot shower.

Expensive — kids enjoyed it but don’t come here on a budget, you will get rung dry :)
Pros:

Beautiful hallway leading from the spa to the lobby.

Bar staff were nice and friendly— fantastic drink service.

Cons:

Purple neon signage in the lobby and silhouette painting on the elevator made it look cheap. The staff were nice except for the one who blocked me in at the back exit. I had to jump a curb with my car to leave.

There was a roach hiding behind a bench in the spa in the men’s changing room.
