Lovely stay in a lovely hotel
Pros:

The hotel building is beautiful inside and outside. It was close the the pier with the rides, across the road from the beach and a short trolley ride away to the Strand.

Cons:

We booked one room Sea view for 3 adults and 1 child. (2 adults and 2 teens 18 & 16) we knew our children would have to share a bed but didn't realise the beds would be so small. The room was small and the beds small so not ideal for the 4 of us, i should of booked 2 rooms but thought it would be okay.

Cons:

Shower drain was plugged. No microwave in room. Only parking was valet at $40 a day.

Wonderful hotel from and center to the Gulf.
Pros:

First time staying on Galveston Island. Was an amazing hotel with tons of history. Well maintained and updated.

We enjoyed and will be back
Pros:

Bed was very comfortable, hot water, bar and Lil was great.
We liked being across from the ocean and close to restaurants.
The atmosphere of the property is nostalgic and brings memories
of days gone by.

Cons:

The shower door would not stay closed.
