Nice Property but Expensive
Pros:

Lovely hotel and ideally located in the Galveston beach front area.

Cons:

Overpriced room for size of room given.
Limited room amenities (very small fridge).
Everything is an additional cost (parking, breakfast,etc). For the price paid, would have hoped for some of this to be included

Pros:

The room was great. t The bathroom was dangerous .The tile on the floor is very slick, Wehad the matt down but the moisture ran way beyond that and I had a bad fall.

Pros:

Grosse Zimmer mit schöner Aussicht. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal und die Lage, quasi direkt am Meer! Parkieren konnte man direkt an der Strasse kostenfrei und es gab ausserdem eine grosszügige Pool-Area mit Musik :)

Cons:

Es gab kein Breakfast Buffet und ins Restaurant wurde man als man nur reingelassen, wenn man ein Oberteil mit Kragen trug…

Great pool and private beach area! “Delux” room was small and not at all delux. Way overpriced.
Pros:

Beautiful interior and nice pool area.

Cons:

Not enough dining options. Need a more casual cafe on site. The Monarch Restaurant kept us waiting for 30 minutes before they even brought the bread basket. It wasn’t even crowded. Service was not up to par for the price. And my steak was not medium rare- it was over done.

Decent for a weekend
Pros:

The property itself is beautiful, loved the style and history

Cons:

The rooms are quite small and not very clean, the windows were full of dust and we found trash in our trash can from previous guests as well as the bathrooms were not cleaned properly
