Pros:

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would return and recommend to family and friends. The newly renovated property was very pleasant. I appreciated the Historical photos along the walls, especially the acknowledgment of some of the African-American contributions to the area.

Cons:

The Breakfast selections were very limited. During my 5-day stay, the only sausage (meat/protein) option available was limited to Pork. I would have appreciated a choice of Beef, Turkey or Chicken sausage. Also, grits were served all 5 days; it would have been nice to have some other choices, such as Home-fried potatoes with onions and peppers or some other selection, for variety.

I enjoyed my stay and would gladly stay again and readily recommend this property to family and friends.
Cons:

The Breakfast selection was extremely limited. On the five days that I stayed, every day only served some variation of pork sausage. Perhaps you can expand your offerings to include beef, turkey or chicken sausage.

Happy with the stay, need to fix a couple of things.
Pros:

Very clean , staff very friendly and helpful.
Bed very comfortable.
Buffet breakfast was good.

Cons:

Shower took a long time to get hot.
Location a distance from where all the restaurants and bars are around 2nd street.

Good but less than perfect. Expected better from the front desk.
Pros:

We loved the quiet in the room, the cleanliness and the high end feel of the place

Cons:

The front desk staff who made me feel like I bothered him.
He couldn’t welcome us and I didn’t trust his reference for a dinner place since your kitchen was closed.

Overall I rate my stay a 4/10
Pros:

The valet staff was exceptionally professional and pleasant!

Cons:

The fact that you aren’t really given a choice on whether to valet or not. The alternative is possibly parking on the street. The elevator didn’t work. The front desk worker who checked us in was very unfriendly and not welcoming. If I had to encounter her again I wouldn’t return

Cons:

First the internet didn’t work. After calling the front desk several times, I was told that he never heard of that before. It eventually worked but only in the suite area and not the bedroom. The toilet was not working properly and the sink in the bathroom drained very slow.

It was an ok stay

It was nice and clean, staff was great!

Cons:

Location wasn’t the best and I didn’t like that there was no onsite parking , but the valet parking staff were very kind and accommodating.
