A beautiful and upscale getaway in the heart of Galveston’s historic district.
Pros:

Beautiful, pristinely clean, walking distance to the historic Strand district & the Seaport Museum at Pier 21. Staff was very professional, kind, and welcoming. Gorgeous lobby and rooftop bar. Comfortable beds and fun views. Delicious food at the hotel restaurant. We loved everything!

Overall our stay was very nice.
Pros:

We liked how convenient we were to the strand and restaurants.

Cons:

Huge Damp or flooding problem? Damp smell and the carpets in my room were wet. My socks were damp. In the corridor on my floor there were wet floor cones everywhere.

If this is an issue you need to provide slippers for guests or block off the floor entirely.
I only stayed one night so didn’t actively complain but I wasn’t impressed.
