Important information:

Please note that some of the hotel's restaurants have a dress code, and some do not allow children under 10 years of age.

The hotel's Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station is located on the ground floor of the Cerema Building. It's open daily from 09:30 until 17:00, and accessible only to staying guests.

Free shuttle locations and schedules:
- From the Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station, the shuttle departs at the top (--:00) and bottom (--:30) of every hour between 10:30 and 17:00, except at 12:30 and 15:00.
- From Hotel Okura Kyoto, the shuttle departs at --:05 and --:35 every hour between 10:05 and 16:35, except at 12:05 and 14:35.
Please note that the shuttle takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Staff will meet guests at the hotel lobby or the Welcome Lounge.

The luggage delivery service operates as follows:
Luggage received by 14:00 at the Welcome Lounge will arrive at the hotel by 17:00.
Luggage received by 11:00 at the hotel will arrive at the Welcome Lounge at the requested time between 14:00 and 17:00.

Parking will be available from January 1, 2026, for an additional charge of JPY 2,000 per night from the day of check-in until 15:00 on the following day.An accommodation tax per person, per night is not included in the price and must be paid at the property.

Pros:

Ee had three night here on our 3 week trip .The standard rooms here are massive compared across Japanese hotels. Great bathroom with separate bath tub and shower. They provide a stocked.bar fridge as well. The location is excellent and directly linked to the subway. Really nice bar for a cocktail and again all the staff are excellent.

Cons:

My only negative is the beds and pillows. The pillows were way to soft and even after having a conversation with house keeping they still could not provide a more fimer pillow. The mattress was.nkt very comfortable and could've been thicker.....fix these and.you will have a 10 out of 10.

The family rooms were spacious, all they replenished the bathroom amenities regularly.

Cons:

I will tell you that from the moment we came in, we found the staff overall were very distant and not welcoming. There was a few exceptions like the restaurant concierge. However – at the price point that we were paying, I found that they could’ve been more welcoming. Also – the pool is not available to kids under 12, the restaurant upstairs was crowded at the first thing in the morning.

Excellent séjour à l'hôtel Okura
Pros:

L'emplacement de l'hotel est ideal : accès direct au metro, à quelques minutes à pied du quartier de Gion et des rues commerçantes. Le personnel est adorable, disponible et à l'écoute. La navette pour la gare est un plus.
Petit déjeuner excellent : beaucoup de choix au buffet (asiatique, continental, salé, sucré). le restaurant situé au 17e etage possède une vue panoramique sur Kyoto tout simplement exceptionnelle !!

満開の桜も含めて、忘れられない良い思い出です。
Pros:

老舗ホテルの重厚感と安心感。スタッフの方々の素晴らしさ。立地など全てです。きっとまたお世話になると思います。

特にありません。桜の季節だったこともあり、インバウンドの方々が多く滞在されていて朝食ブッフェが多少混み合っていたくらいです。ちなみに和朝食は落ち着いてゆっくりいただくことができました。

Pros:

It was great that the hotel connected to the subway without having to go outside. Perfect since it was raining when we were there!! Additionally, we arrived early and the staff was very helpful. Also, we contacted the hotel ahead of our stay via email with a couple questions, and they were very communicative and helpful over email!

Great choice, easy to access 5 star hotel.
Pros:

Extremely comfortable stay, hotel staff very helpful, excellent coffee shop with gorgeous cakes, service impeccable. Rooms changed daily, which seldom happens. Room service was also excellent. Shuttle to Kyoto Station.
