Important information:

Please note that some of the hotel's restaurants have a dress code, and some do not allow children under 10 years of age.

The hotel's Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station is located on the ground floor of the Cerema Building. It's open daily from 09:30 until 17:00, and accessible only to staying guests.

Free shuttle locations and schedules:
- From the Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station, the shuttle departs at the top (--:00) and bottom (--:30) of every hour between 10:30 and 17:00, except at 12:30 and 15:00.
- From Hotel Okura Kyoto, the shuttle departs at --:05 and --:35 every hour between 10:05 and 16:35, except at 12:05 and 14:35.
Please note that the shuttle takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Staff will meet guests at the hotel lobby or the Welcome Lounge.

The luggage delivery service operates as follows:
Luggage received by 14:00 at the Welcome Lounge will arrive at the hotel by 17:00.
Luggage received by 11:00 at the hotel will arrive at the Welcome Lounge at the requested time between 14:00 and 17:00.

Parking will be available from January 1, 2026, for an additional charge of JPY 2,000 per night from the day of check-in until 15:00 on the following day.An accommodation tax per person, per night is not included in the price and must be paid at the property.

I was told spa and gym would be included. It wasn’t. The concierge did not speak one word of English,
Which I normally wouldn’t expect but I stayed there for the concierge assistance and sauna. They didn’t care. Also the room service food was inedible.

High quality, great location, good food-would book again
Pros:

I enjoyed the western-style breakfast buffet each morning with a lovely view. The buffet included classics like pancakes, fruit but also white rice, dumplings, miso soup, and soba noodles. The location is convenient and safe-a 5 minute walk from the shops and restaurants but quiet in the evenings. In the bottom floor, there are a bunch of shops and restaurants with a direct entrance to the Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae station. My room wasn't fancy, but it was comfy. It had a good view, a big bathtub, and overall felt clean.

Cons:

I'm a little mixed on the fitness center facilities-the gym was small and didn't have a lot of equipment. There was an extra fee for every visit, which was worth it for me only because I was using the sauna/hot tub also while there. Just something worth knowing for someone who wants to workout every day.

落ち着いたステイで、楽しく疲れない連休でした。
Pros:

どこへ行くにも便利だし、タクシーの運転手さんにも通じないことがありません。老舗ホテルのサービスの良さが満喫できます。部屋から見える山並みのとれがどの山かわかる紙が置いてあるのも楽しい。

とくに不満はありませんでした。

部屋から見える鴨川、東山の眺めが素敵でした。
あと、些細なことですが、TV台が回転するのが良かった。
オリンピック期間中だったため、早起きしてベッドに寝転がって見ることができました。

Hele fijne kamers en fantastische ligging
Pros:

De grootte van de kamer, de ligging in de stad. Heel handig dat het boven een metrostation en een winkelcentrum ligt

Cons:

Eigenlijk niets maar in Okura Tokyo kreeg je s avonds een chocolaatje maar dat was hier niet.
