Please note that some of the hotel's restaurants have a dress code, and some do not allow children under 10 years of age.

The hotel's Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station is located on the ground floor of the Cerema Building. It's open daily from 09:30 until 17:00, and accessible only to staying guests.

Free shuttle locations and schedules:
- From the Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station, the shuttle departs at the top (--:00) and bottom (--:30) of every hour between 10:30 and 17:00, except at 12:30 and 15:00.
- From Hotel Okura Kyoto, the shuttle departs at --:05 and --:35 every hour between 10:05 and 16:35, except at 12:05 and 14:35.
Please note that the shuttle takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Staff will meet guests at the hotel lobby or the Welcome Lounge.

The luggage delivery service operates as follows:
Luggage received by 14:00 at the Welcome Lounge will arrive at the hotel by 17:00.
Luggage received by 11:00 at the hotel will arrive at the Welcome Lounge at the requested time between 14:00 and 17:00.

Parking will be available from January 1, 2026, for an additional charge of JPY 2,000 per night from the day of check-in until 15:00 on the following day.An accommodation tax per person, per night is not included in the price and must be paid at the property.

Beautifully appointed, grand and close to all you need
Pros:

We really loved this property! Esp the location - beautifully appointed rooms, modern and larger than usual with a wonderful view of the Kyoto mountains. Breakfast was incredible with view of the river. The train station subway was so convenient because it was under the building. There was plenty of choice with respect to food options and shopping in the subway. There are two or three bakeries right downstairs so that made a very easy for breakfast. We especially loved the Cascade bakery. across the road opposite the town hall there is Teramachi Street. This is so big that we couldn’t see it in a day. It’s full of shops artisanal products crafts stationery, restaurants etc We loved it! The hotel foyer was truly a sight to see - historical and grand luxury. Staff were so helpful and friendly too. I would highly recommend staying here. It’s a short train ride to Gion but I prefer this much quieter and well located part of Kyoto.

Very professional staff.Staff in the 1st-floor Café Lec Court provided helpful,excellent service.All staff from the reception staff to the bell captain were outstanding.Excellent location too.

京都駅前にウエルカムラウンジがありホテルまでのシャトルバス、休憩施設が利用できる。帰りはホテルに荷物を預け
観光後、ウエルカムラウンジで受け取れので便利。

Cons:

朝食の和定食（８F）は大変良かったが、バイキング（17F)は全ての料理が安物で低レベル。
