Amazing location, great room, tasty breakfast, friendly staff
It took along time to get a table at breakfast
La atención incluso en Español ya que el recepcionista era español y super amable, hasta nos dieron una copa de bienvenida. El bar de abajo es muy bueno con buenos cocteles y el desayuno muy bien aunque algo escaso quizás.
En general todo muy bien, la habitación tampoco tenía muy buenas vistas ya que daba a un patio trasero. La habitación por el precio que se pagó era algo pequeña pero en general muy cómoda eso si.
The member of staff was kind and apologetic
when I arrived at approximately 2:00am, I was informed that my booking could not be honoured because the hotel was fully booked. I was told there was no room available for me and was even refused access to the hotel car park. As a result, I was left stranded in the middle of the night with nowhere to stay.
Given the time, I was unable to secure alternative accommodation. I therefore had no option but to spend the night sleeping in my car in the rain. After travelling overnight, I then had to wait until later the following day before I could check into alternative accommodation, shower, rest, or properly recover from my journey.
What made the situation even more frustrating was Booking.com’s response. They did not assist me in finding alternative accommodation, nor did they appear particularly concerned about the situation. My interactions with customer service left me feeling as though their priority was simply to end the call rather than resolve the issue.
This is, without question, the worst experience I have had using Booking.com. Being left without accommodation in the early hours of the morning is unacceptable, and the lack of meaningful support only made an already stressful situation worse. Going forward, I will be using Airbnb instead, as I have consistently found their customer service to be far more responsive, compassionate, and customer-focused.
Location across from st Stephen’s square
Needs a renovation. Feels 80s ish. With chipped furniture and ragged carpeting. Didnt feel super clean so I wore the provided slippers the whole time. Breakfast is so so. Nice selection. Nothing extraordinary. Like unusual fruits or artisanal breads. Lots of golfers so I suspect it’s on some club circuit

The service was excellent. Most of the staff were welcoming and friendly. The location is great and the hotel is very comfortable
The Maitre D at breakfast was not very welcoming. He rolled his eyes at us when we arrived, initially ignored us and then approached every other occupied table to ascertain if they were happy with breakfast. He pointedly bypassed us. The only bad experience we had was his attitude to us.

Very poor air conditioning. Terrible breakfast. Appalling coffee. Onsite restaurant temporarily closed but bar not offering wide enough menu.

Location, casual dining area and food.
The door to the toilet area made a loud noise when opening and closing it. It sounded as if it would break each time. The space for luggage was woefully inadequate for two guests. The dark/black bathroom decor was unappealing.
