Close by location to historic Charleston and James Island - away from the crazy traffic.
The shuttle into town was only $7 for the entire day. A great service considering parking prices in town.
Although it is very clean, the hotel is tired. I was surprised that so much maintenance was needed at a Marriott chain hotel.
There was absolutely no where to shop or dine without getting in your car.
Close to the city in a quiet area. Overall clean and comfortable, relatively well equipped rooms (fridge, microwave...).
Breakfast very basic. No cutlery or tableware in the kitchenette in the room.
The staff were super friendly and helpful.
The place needs some T.L.C. The door to our room had to be strong armed to close, the kitchen area cupboards didn't even close, looked almost like they would fall off if you used them.
It was convenient to the Historic District in Charleston.
There were few amenities. Plus we asked for more towels and never received them. We had to get them from the cleaning cart.
The staff was nice and the breakfast was great
We were put into a handicap room and the beds were very loud when you tried to move
view and location
Small room, low and squeaky bed.
The elevator situation was abhorrent. We won’t be returning because of that. It’s such a shame. It was overall very nice, just this one issue.
How unfortunate for you that the elevator issue is driving your customers away.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Zimmer auch weitgehend sauber
Es war schon sehr abgewohnt und zum Teil renovierungsbedürftig.
Glutenfreies Frühstück wurde nicht angeboten.
Breakfast but they need more staff to handle volume.
I will never try to change dates again on any of my stay having used booking.com. Neither one of them talk with each other and
I became the jelly in the peanut butter sandwich.
La ubicacion cerca del centro de Charleston, el desayuno completo y el detalle de bienvenida.
ארוחת בוקר טובה
הבריכה החמה הייתה נהדרת בליל ההגעה
This is easily one of the two worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
The room was extremely small and poorly laid out. There was barely space to walk, and the biggest issue was the bathroom area being located right at the foot of the bed behind the TV. The TV extended into the opening, and I kept hitting my shoulder on it. While the room was too small to realistically have a door for the sink area, its placement made it impossible to get ready early without waking everyone.
Cleanliness was also a concern, with visible mold in the shower and thick dust on the bathroom doorframe. Ironically, after touring the USS Yorktown, I told my husband it reminded me of our hotel, small and old, but the ship actually seemed cleaner.
We booked in part for the continental breakfast, but by 8 a.m. most of the food was gone and not being restocked. The selection was minimal, and the hot items weren’t properly heated, so we had to go elsewhere. It was so crowded that I am not surprised.
I got stuck in the elevator on our last morning and had to be helped out between floors. We later heard this had also happened the day before.
The only positive is the location. It’s convenient to Charleston attractions. However, there are several hotels in just about the same parking lot.
Room was nasty, hair in bed, bathroom, crumbs on floor. Lobby bathroom had feces smeared around toilet and trash can. Greasy prints on windows. When asked to change rooms I was told they were sold out, sorry, even tho I booked months ago. I would book somewhere else and make sure to inspect your room well.
Overall stay was good, close to historic areas, nice marina view. Breakfast was really good. Wish the welcome pack had 5 water for 5 of us rather than 1.
