Awful hotel - noisy and outdated.
Pros:

The reception staff were fairly pleasant & we had a nice Happy Anniversary card & small box of chocolates left in our room. Which lulled us into a false sense of security!

Cons:

The resturant was terrible. Rude, snotty and sullen host who left us standing there for over 5 minutes - when we had booked a table.

The rest of the restaurant staff are children. And are very slow due to their inexperience.

Food was mediocre at best. And this is a 4 star place?

We didn’t use the pool or gym as going by the rest of the hotel, it’d be run down anyway.

Doors were slamming ALL. Night. Long. Which set our dogs off each time. Hotel doors should NEVER be able to be slammed - for this very reason!

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and pillows flat as pancakes. The room was swelteringly hot but due to all of the outside noise, we had to keep the window closed.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in and absolutely NOT a 4 star.

Cons:

Room was very dated and in need of maintenance and a good clean as it was very grubby- one bath towel provided, stained carpet, dirty bathroom

It was truly awful to have smokers talking loudly and roughly under my window until midnight
Pros:

Bathtub and shower were both excellent, bed was comfortable, closet space generous

Cons:

Staff was unhelpful, food bland, toilet seat did not fit toilet

Good value stay with excellent leisure facilities.
Pros:

Spa excellent and gym good, changing areas good.Room clean and cosy but small. Helpful Leisure Staff. Great towels, kettle tea making and fresh milk. Great location for Kelpies and Wheel visits.

Cons:

Steps x 2 flights up. Spiral not easy! Strong Food smell in bar wasnt pleasant, especially if going in just for a drink. Seperate lounge for residents not discovered.

Perfectly adequate - lovely staff and good pool
Pros:

The historic old inchyra is beautiful and it’s had a spa

Cons:

Dated room. Bed was big but felt like it was a few beds stuck together. Window was old and bathroom had a consistent electrical buzz. The bath was fine but again, dated and the shower although great pressure was pretty dirty looking. Great size and was nice (just dated)The food was overpriced and gave me a bad stomach. Would not recommend the restaurant or bar.

A bit of mantainance
Pros:

Was good we could use the pool , but not been advised at the time of check in but found out later was included in the room price. So unfortunately we only use it once.

Cons:

I think is overly priced . Our room had very old carpet that had some missing pices un the middle , then the beds for kids were very old and cracky . The shower was leaking. So a bit of mantainance would do magic. Also, the elevator wasn't working for 3 days which was a bit of a hell for us but yeah can happen.

Good location and friendly staff. The facilities are good but rooms are tired and need modernisation
Pros:

Wonderful staff who were really helpful, the pool was excellent and from the exterior it has a 4 star feel

Cons:

The bed was comfortable but the bedding felt cheap. There is no air con which is to be expected but the window only opened a small crack. The bathroom was a bit tired and could do with a refresh.
