Was there for my anniversary and birthday didn’t make any difference despite booking dinner for 9.
Pros:

Breakfast in our room was good although the butter for the toast was missing and didn’t know the cups were in the cupboard. Went for breakfast the next day. Haggis was also missing.

Cons:

Couldn’t book the Spa despite trying to call from the Monday eventually got a call back on the Thursday but by that time no places available.

Decent price, decent value for money but hotel needs modernization
Pros:

Good swimming pool and spa facilities. Good breakfast and parking facilities

Cons:

Bed was uncomfortable, room was dated (but very clean) but bar staff were very poor - slow to serve, disorganised, lacked people skills and enthusiasm

lovely hotel, perfect for relaxing and unwinding
Pros:

the spa facilities are just amazing, we tried to go at quieter times which was a lot better. the bed was super comfortable and room was very clean

Cons:

we had dinner at the hotel one night, for the price we paid we thought we would get a lovely meal however the food was pretty poor, the steak wasn’t cooked the way we asked and the burger didn’t have much flavour there, i think for the price we paid we expected a bit better.

Great staff and nice place that has the potential to be so much better

Well positioned and pleasant decor

Cons:

Decor a little faded in places and in need of attention.
Room had no safe and no fridge.
Mattress was in need of replacement as we both rolled to the centre!
