Great location, easy access to public transport, clean rooms, great bed and pillows, great AC, bathroom is OK - rather limited, service is excellent, morning breakfast offers a large variety of specialty coffees, teas, cereals, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh fruit, friendly service - Nieve, Claudia, Taimoor, Leida, Eduart were welcoming and efficient
From check in on everything was wonderful.. staff extremely friendly and helpful. Bed is comfy and the breakfast room has tons of choices. Easy walk from hotel to just about everything.
Lovely hotel around the corner from Holyrood Palace. The staff were very friendly and had a lovely breakfast buffet and fab restaurant and bar.
As we got a really good deal on the rooms, being able to stay in such large and fine rooms was quite the experience! Seems like a nice neighborhood and the bathrooms were all different but came well equipped in different ways.
We were celebrating our fathers 60th birthday and decided to get the most expensive suite, however the rooms AC was broken. The issue was brought up with staff and management, but the issue could not be resolved.
The room was still nice, but the lack of ac and the response of the staff and hotel management really put a wet blanket to our trip.
What a lovely and accommodating hotel. Staff are so friendly and willing to help. A special mention to Lewis who sorted everything out from the minute we walked in. Short walk into city centre. Bar well stocked. Good fantastic. Rooms clean and lots of towels and toiletries. Tea, coffee and biscuits. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay.

Nice and clean hotel! Room is spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Staffs are very friendly. 10mins walk to Colton Hill. Great value for the money. We stayed on the first level with the window facing the street but definitely not too noisy since the Hoyel is not on a busy street.
We added breakfast to our stay. Kiaudia and Edward were our servers and Edward is the sweetest and hardest working person I’ve known. He always makes sure to check in on us and really kind to the kids. Our kids adored him and were really sad not seeing him on our last day there as he’s on a well deserved vacation.
It was a great hotel in a terrific location. Staff was very friendly, especially Eduar.
