Gelukkig was het maar voor 1 nacht.

Locatie was goed

Cons:

We kregen een ontzettend gedateerde kamer voor minder valide mensen terwijl hier geen overleg over was geweest.
Bed was veel te smal voor 2 personen.

Pros:

It was very excellent and the staff is so kind. Eduart was very nice and very attentive, as well as the rest of the team. The hotel is very clean and the food is very good, and the atmosphere is very calming.

Good hotel. Excellent, friendly staff. Terrific location. Fortunately the weather was typical Edinburgh so the inoperable windows and non functional air conditioning were not a problem.

Staff made it special
Pros:

Had a great time at Voco Royal Terrace in Edinburgh. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They were very knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions for activities and restaurants. The location is very convenient away from crowds but walking distance to most sites. Very close to tram for things that were further away. Our room was lovely and spacious. Opening windows or functioning air conditioning would have been an improvement but not usually needed in Edinburgh. Considering the average hotel price in Edinburgh it was good value.

A good choice for an Edinburgh stay
Pros:

Good location, close to city centre and all the attractions and restaurants. The first room we were given was in the basement and was a bit dingy, the second room was on the 2nd floor with a view of the park across the street, much nicer. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. The restaurant and terrace are lovely. The bar is wonderful, serving delicious cocktails. We would stay here again.

During our first stay we were very pleased with the accommodations and the staff. Not happy with the room on the second

The property was beautiful from the rooms to the outdoor patio. Staff were very accommodating.

Cons:

We stayed twice on our trip. Our room was great but the second stay was on what they called the “patio” floor which was basically the basement. Felt closed in and bleak. Photo belie was our first room.
