Lovely and clean,staff were always polite and friendly and ready to help
Beds are solid,if you like a hard bed,you’ll be fine,if not they are not comfortable (I have spinal issues so not good for me) very noisy corridors,not good when you have dogs with you (one guest found it funny at home midnight to keep slamming their door just to start our dogs off barking).we stayed 3 nights,on our 3rd night we were woken up but a god awful loud banging and clattering like something was crashing through the roof.this quietened down to what was like an industrial sized washing machine on fast spin which continued for the rest of the night!the night porter came and had a look and said it was the fan system had broken and couldn’t be fixed until morning.we were offered to change to a smaller room,which would’ve meant packing and moving all our belongs at 12.45am along with our two dogs,which we declined,and fortunately my husband can sleep through anything (and he’s the driver) so he got some sleep on and off,I stayed awake,and we had a 6 and half hour journey back to Anglesey the next morning.

Nothing at all
The beds were so comfortable, the staff were so friendly and happy and couldn't have done more to help you. Really nice lobby area.
Food was good but not amazing, it was average but the menu was nice and varied. The room dark wood 🪵 left it feeling dated and could do with a makeover like the rest of the room as half of the rooms lovely.

Very nice hotel, great room and lovely food. We had a beautiful sunny day by sheer luck and walked up and down Irvine beach which is close by.
The location and facilities are perfectly fine for my visit
I had an issue with the bathroom , each time the loo was flushed there appeared to be an air lock in the plumbing and was extremely noisy and the noise went on for ages, staff were made aware and attempts made to rectify the problem but unfortunately wasn’t sorted before I left.
Convenient location for all the things i have to do, thats why i keep returning to this hotel. Safe atmosphere.
I.dislike the pet friendly policy.
Reception area nice and food was alright.
Rooms very tired, massive yellow stain on carpet which was so bad we photographed it and showed it to reception staff to ensure we weren't blamed for it. Also bad stains on bed runner and a couple on duvet. No phone in room and we weren't provided one after asking twice so couldn't order room service or contact reception for anything.
