Comfortable bed
Lift Broken but was advised of this before my stay....staff very polite and helpful. Food very good.
Lighting in room very dull
Relaxing stay and staff friendly ideal location for visiting Perth theatre
There s always a smell along the corridor leading to kitchen entrance because the door is left open, sometimes its quite bad, not sure of the reason the door isn't shut
The lift was broken, im not good with stairs.
Clean and comfortable room was cosy. Nice selection of tea coffee and biscuits in room.great choice at buffet breakfast.Have been before and will go back again
Very handy for shops pubs and restaurants
Central location
Room layout.
Didn't book to have breakfast as I originally thought it was included in the overnight stay.
Although the room was good and the shower room was spotless, it took me most ten minutes to find room 202. However, I fully understand that this is a very old property and can only be utilised according to the original layout.
I wouldn't hesitate to make a return visit to The Salutation Hotel.
Please refer to my previous comments.
Great location
Very noisy pipes when someone turns the taps on or flushes the toilets the whole hotel is awake
The receptionist was polite and friendly and the room comfortable.
The breakfast was one of the best I've had - cooked breakfast was hot and tasty, and felt very relaxed in the breakfast room despite being on my own. And, what I've rarely come across, there was an extra knife on the breakfast table to use to spread my toast!
The wall between mine and the next room was very thin and there happened to be a lady there talking very loudly and volubly on her phone - I could hear exactly what she was saying, and it went on for some time.
The central situation of hotel was ideal, though we had used park and ride and due to road closure the bus stop was a bit away, so we had to walk further..not hotels fault! We weren’t aware either that park and ride bus doesn’t run on Sunday. So had to book a taxi back to P&R.
The hotel was fine, the staff were lovely. The fan in the toilet took ages to go off. Couldn’t sleep. Reported it the member of staff said couldn’t do anything till morning.
Friendly staff very helpful when trying to find a italian restaurant gave exact directions.
Nothing comes to mind thanks
I didn’t have breakfast on this visit, but on past experiences it has always been excellent
Not applicable
The room was comfortable but thought we might have got a nicer room as the hotel was pretty empty
The double bed was tiny. Neither myself nor my fiance are heavy but I kept feeling like I was going to fall out the bed!
central, economical, parking nearby, simple check in and check out
Location and price
Due to road works it was difficult, using Satnav, to gain access to the hotel and the nearby parking facility
