Fab location, staff and hotel

Location is amazing. Staff were so friendly and responsive. Nothing too much trouble. Afternoon tea with a view across the Old course was amazing! The staff in the One under bar were so friendly and attentive.

Everything was amazing

We had another fabulous stay at the Russacks in St Andrews. Laura went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a memorable one, upgrading our room and ensuring everything I asked for was achieved perfectly (Husbands birthday). This was our first return trip without our dog and we couldn’t have asked for more from the team to make it special during what has been a very difficult time for our family.

Michaela on reception was also so attentive, kind and warm during our stay - just what we needed. The whole staff team were fantastic. For example, the warm welcome, the kind gestures - staff ensuring there was enough wood in the log burner - (it was so cold outside) - it’s the little things that make this beautiful hotel really stand out.

Food and location - the best.

There’s no place in the world like St Andrews and no place quite like the Russacks and the team there. See you soon. Thank you. L and A xx

Stayed here for valentines and had the most wonderful stay. We only live a few miles away and often eat at the rooftop restaurant 18 but decided to stay overnight. The room took our breath away. The balcony overlooking the Old Course and the beach was truly spectacular.

Dinner was excellent. The buratta starter was so creamy and tasty that I had to ask where they sourced it (a trip to Solerno required!). We had the valentine special Chicken Caesar which was absolutely delicious.

The whole place is stunning and the staff are all first class: hospitality at its very best.

What another fabulous stay at this beautiful hotel. Staff are so warm and friendly. The room upgrade was outstanding - so thank you. We are never disappointed with our trips to Russacks, whatever time of year.

Location was excellent .. we enjoyed sitting beside the fire . Very very welcoming staff … at reception and in the restaurant .

Location, cleanliness, service, breakfast

What a wonderful hotel. The staff is gracious. The hotel is traditionally perfect.
We were given a room with a view and we couldn’t have been more appreciative Breakfast was amazing
It’s a short stroll into the main part of town.

Russacks was our favourite hotel in St Andrews.
We stayed many times over the years.
We last visited in 2019 & said we would not return.
It was tired, underwhelming and the standard was below par.

We have just returned from the most wonderful night away.
Under the new Marine and Lawn. Russacks has been transformed.
We were very privileged and grateful to be upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the 18th.
The room was faultless. Comfortable, spacious & had a super large comfortable bed!
The balcony was lovely to sit out and listen to the waves with the warm blankets that were supplied.

We had cocktails in '18' which were very good.
The restaurant was busy on a Sunday afternoon and had a lovely buzz to it. The bar was very quiet, but had great views over the course and the sea.

We received a very warm welcome at the entrance of the Hotel and every staff member
was friendly, helpful and looked happy in their jobs.

The breakfast was relaxed and the service was excellent, again, friendly, professional staff.
The choice and quality of food was excellent.
No buffet, which was a bonus!

We are delighted that we can once again call Russacks our favourite hotel in St Andrews and we can't wait to return.
