IMPORTANT NOTICE – POTENTIAL CONSTRUCTION NOISE
Burleigh and Miami are currently undergoing exciting regeneration projects, including the nearby Light Rail extension. As a result, guests may experience intermittent construction noise from sites behind and in front of the property during the day (typically until 5pm) and occasionally at night.
While some days are quiet, others may include high-impact works such as jackhammering. Light Rail construction teams have advised that some weekend work may occur, with two nights’ respite provided each week (though these may vary).
We appreciate your understanding as these works contribute to the future vibrancy of our area.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

I stayed at Outrigger Burleigh for 2 nights (Sunday check-in, Tuesday check-out) and paid $594.61. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.

The room had a very strong musty smell, which seemed to be coming from the air conditioning. It made the stay uncomfortable and the bed was very uncomfortable, not what I expected for the price paid.

After my stay, I sent an email to raise my concerns, but I never received a response, which was also very disappointing from a customer service perspective.

Overall, it wasn’t a pleasant experience, and I hope management can address both the room condition and their communication with guests.
