Overall, I enjoyed the hotel but the failure to hold bags on a Saturday was very disappointing!

Cons:

The fact that on the Saturday of departure I could not leave my bag locked up and wonder around the place as there was no one at reception till 2pm when I needed to pick up my bag at 1pm. So I just had to go the airport and sit 5 hours instead of enjoying Tassie. There was no flexibility to contact sometime to arrive earlier. I was really disappointed and had not struck this beforehand in my travels.

Highly recommended.

The receptionist was so nice and accomodating. She let me check in early and my room is so spacious and neat. I also like the style of the building and rooms.

Would definitely recommend the Balmoral to family and friends who were looking to stay in Launceston.
Pros:

It’s location, on site car parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable - the included breakfast was a bonus.

Very comfortable, relaxing, quiet and great views!

The room was fantastic! Very clean, spacious, great location and very friendly staff.

Cons:

The only thing I'd recommend is a pull over curtain for the back single bed bedroom. As an adult travelling with other adult family, i had no privacy to get undressed or dressed or to block out the tv light when the others wanted to stay up later. That's the only thing I'd recommend. Otherwise everything else was tip top :)

Pros:

The property was average overall. The accommodation was satisfactory but fairly basic, and the breakfast was simple with limited variety. While it met basic needs, there was room for improvement in the overall experience, particularly in the quality of the breakfast and the standard of the facilities.

Cons:

We stayed on the first floor and could hear footsteps and walking noise, which was unpleasant at times. Overall, the property was adequate but could benefit from better noise insulation, quieter plumbing and an improved breakfast selection.

Pros:

Stayed one night. Room was clean. Had a complimentary continental breakfast. Option available for hot breakfast. Were able to leave our luggage there till we checked in. Walking distance restaurateurs

Great Location in Launceston
Pros:

Nicely located to be able to walk into the city and find somewhere to eat.
Hotel was clean & staff professional and friendly

Cons:

If I had booked direct with the hotel my breakfast would have been upgraded to a cooked breakfast rather than continental
