I would recommend it but just be aware of these issues if they're not for you.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was in the old town area. The main area was very nice with a patio in the middle to sit, eat and have drinks. The bartender was very charming and spoke very good English. The room had a balcony so we were able to sit and watch the sunset at night.

Cons:

Not their fault and I should have expected it to be quite noisy since it was near the ocean and the Malecon. We wished the beds were more comfortable as my husband has a bad back so he had trouble sleeping.

For a one night stay, it works great. For more than one night, Id suggest staying somewhere else
